Absolutely! The driver was amazing, and Kerala truly lives up to its reputation as God's own country. The hospitality and culture here are incredible. Thanks for sharing!
My husband shared his, the gentleman cab driver here (whose name is Ginesh) story to me. He happened to drive him from Naval base kochi to airport for his flight to Delhi. During the drive, my husband and the cab driver started talking and realized that they shared a common bond. My husband was in the rescue team during Kochi Floods of 2018 and this gentleman suffered loss/damage of household items like many others who lost a lot during the flood. On reaching airport, my husband who couldn't get one of his train ticket cancelled, gave him the ticket and proposed that he can get the ticket cancelled and keep the refund as the money is already lost for him. Surprisingly Mr. Ginesh got the train ticket cancelled and transferred the refund amount to my husband. It is hard to find such humbleness in today's world.
Wow, thank you for sharing this story! This is amazing and so kind of him. I agree with you that it is hard to find such humbleness like this and these people are truly special. How kind of him and how amazing to have shared that experience together 🙏💗
