Ever time your cat decides to appear in your videos, I say your little “love to see it” phrase. The one you say when you hit a your minimum Hipp count.
Thank you!! This guide really helped me with a little discipline and finally got me to Infinite…. woooohooo, love your videos anyway but especially this one. I got myself to 98 last week then started losing, messed with my deck over and over, not concentrating making stupid mistakes and not snapping with any real structure…. watched your video and went on a 10+ undefeated run, some well thought out retreats shortly after and strong snapping without worrying about what people might have… Also calculating stats even when it feels rushed and overwhelming sometimes. I’m in the ranks, thanks 🥳🥳🥳🥳
I absolutely agree about Ika being underrated. You introduced him to me in earlier videos and I respect the man. You are the connector to all these great players. I've been since day 1 and it pays off time and time again. Enjoy Santo Domingo, you deserve it BX baby!!!!!! I'm about to eat 3 golpes but I rather be over for the week too.
Can't listen to this yet but briefed through the tips - will be listening to the thoughts later. Currently I'm taking a break from infinite grind due to several reasons but snap advantage will be a big point for me when I return. Great video!
9:54 I really dig adding the best snap hands to the deck guides going forward; also adding to the guide is what happens when you do the snap aggression and it goes poorly, I think I lost trust in even my best Thanos deck due to how tight it gets in the 90s (even ideal early snaps can go baaaad, or so it felt). Tldr; how to hold the aggressive snap while also dealing with the 90s where too much of that can bounce you back down to the 80s (which never feels good momentum loss wise, and sometimes makes climbing back a no go :/ ). But yeah long story short I need to TRUST my early snaps more even when some lose (though yeah, the 90s pre infinite seems to be its own meta sometimes compared to the rest, where even an aggressive snap strat needs to be delicately managed). **also agree’d, shock memory is def part of this problem too.
Understanding the meta is so important I got first time infinite with a weird tempo ronan/ blob/ destroyer deck. Shang chi has run rampant this season and using priority cosmo/ armor on the final turns of the game worked out great for me
After having a previous high of 88, I am now in the 90s for the first time and climbing from 96 at the moment using these tips. To top it off I'm sure I'm at best only 50% effective with them at the moment, but even that much has made a huge difference in my game!
@@snapjudgmentspod Of course once I made it this high I started getting countered and stopped winning games 😂 at least it was cool making it into the 90s!
Cull and blob doooo go quite well together in the Thanos though (and the more chances for blob to go father north of that 15 due to big chunks is nice).
Yo. You said you want to make videos about optimally snapping and/or leaving based on starting hands (like the MTG or Hearthstone mulligan but without the mulligan). I'm here for it. Card gamers LOVE that s**t. Do it fam 😀
I wish there was a message you could send to opponent that said “should have snapped sooner”. It could be used to both give constructive feedback to your opponent but also would feel like a satisfying response to someone who gives you the ms. Marvel on a one cube retreat.
18:41 I will say though, proving ground matches have been mega drawn out for me lately (4 cubes, 2 cube and by golly players will often make me go for a game 3 🤯). I had also wondered about proving grounds as I usually just test decks there, but would it be correct to say that proving grounds is so stilted it may not be the best meta to test anything ..?
I once read/heard the Marvel versus DC described as "Marvel writes stories about people who happen to have powers, while DC writes stories about heroes with personal lives". I would love to find the original source of that quote, but it's lost to time. It's so accurate though and why I also prefer Marvel to DC. It's much easier to write about people since we're all people. Most people don't run around in spandex fighting crime or saving reality. I will concede the point that DC's peaks dwarf Marvel's, but the same is true for their abysses too!
I appreciate all these tips. The issue for me is 90s idk why but from my experience plp just play for 2 cubes. I snap aggressively they leave and vice Versa. Maybe I should stay more until the game ends, but don’t see why when they got the beneficial location. Last yr it wasn’t an issue for me this yr is completely different. I have a spicy cook with Corvus glaive that’ll try again with after it releases.
Thank yoh for the video, Glazer! I would say, on the IkaJaw list, I definitely think Howard should be replaced. Howard makes sense in no deck ever imo. However, one option to look at as a replacement might be Zabu, maybe. It enables a potential turn 6 play of Lad and Jubilee with maybe some hammers and it gives you the ability to play Lad, Jubilee, or BRB if you didn't draw Thor or Lockjaw by turn 3.
For the last couple months as soon as I get to infinite I tell myself it’s a great time to practice snapping better because worse case I tank a rank that really doesn’t mean that much but hopefully I get the practice I need to be a better player in future months. Then I get aggressive, am immediately stupid about not running when someone clearly has a counter and then spend the remaining weeks playing conservatively haha this month will be different!!
yay, we finally have a Kitty sighting! How old is Kitty ? I have a small zoo here at home. Ty for all the tips. God knows I need them this month. It has been a struggle lol
I feel like I have to snap (or stay on a snap) when my current game state (hand, board and deck) is better than the opponent’s average at this point factoring in their snaps i.e. if they’ve snapped their average hand is probably better. The issue is that sometimes I look at the board and say “I’m running this card. If I draw it they lose.” They would retreat if they were using their brain, but they don’t retreat and I lose as I didn’t draw the thing. So instead I just always assume the opponent is both smart enough to make the best play to beat me and dumb enough to never retreat when they should which means I don’t snap enough but what can you do?
I look at these tips more like algorithms for an AI like Stockfish or poker micro stakes grinders. Optimized decisions like these generate reliable results over a large sample. But they won't help if you're having a miserable experience and don't want to open the game again because you got ruined by the third location flipping to a Sokovia that discards your Jane Foster. So I would like to add another thought to the list, if you feel like these sort of RNG outcomes frustrate you, as they do to me. At least wait until all locations are revealed before you snap. It is not as optimal as "snap turn 1 on mind stone" stat wise, but enjoying the few free hours you get in a day weight more than cube gain.
Also idk if I speak for the rest of the community but if you need to go down to say 4-5 videos a week to get a better quality of videos I'd support that
Oh man, I have to fix my schedule ASAP! No more fluffing around! Anyway, Cull has to be worth it, right? Let's see what Papa SnapJudge tells me about it! : ))
I do not snap nearly enough. All tied to mental health/confidence. I quit playing poker because it affected my self-esteem too much and I'm close to walking away from Snap as well.
Following these tips have helped me reach infinite quickly every month. These work!!

Opponent passes on 1, Zabu on 2
Me: So it could be Sera, Lockdown, Tribunal, Darkhawk, Bounce, Loki, or Black Knight I think…

Some great tips and loved the intermission bit found that to be super useful. This is probably your best bond villain impression video ever.

On vacation and still dropping decks daily! Love the dedication.
Thank you as always for the work you put in. I’m a chronically cautious snapper so tips like these help. Enjoy your break!
Thanks for this. Sharing with the players in our Discord struggling with the infinite climb. Picked up good info for myself, as well
Glad to help!
These tips were super helpful, I don't snap nearly enough but now I can start implementing this advice - Thank you!
Fantastic video! It's annoying how much it's necessary to retreat in this game in order to climb. But it is what it is.
Understanding the meta is so important I got first time infinite with a weird tempo ronan/ blob/ destroyer deck. Shang chi has run rampant this season and using priority cosmo/ armor on the final turns of the game worked out great for me

Good for deck testing not snappong
Ayyyy! You’re in my neighborhood!!! Have fun at Universal!!!
Thanks for this amazing Tips we really need them !

Your tip videos are all bookmarked and sent to any new player I find and they get hooked!
Thank you!
Lovin your guides glazer
Great tips. I play a lot of folks I can’t understand why they don’t snap into their winning play lines.
Tip 3 made me realize I usually have so much I don't draw into: never thought to use it to measure a good snap against my opponent.
Thanks for all you do glazer last season I hit infinity end of the season. this month mid season and now I’m crushing top 9k ❤🎉
awesome!!! congrats!
Snapping effectively = progression. Hard to get my mind around that!
yay, we finally have a Kitty sighting! How old is Kitty ? I have a small zoo here at home. Ty for all the tips. God knows I need them this month. It has been a struggle lol

Thank you for telling me not to open for Cull Obsidian. Do you think he's going to get turned into a 4/9? Do you think I should buy him for tokens?
He's great probably
What’s the tip if you’re on Galactic, but a hot location messes with your deck?(I also have to work on my aggressive snapping…)
I usually skip hhot locations
@@snapjudgmentspod ah yes, bide my time, good tip
Good morning, Glazer and Snapjudgments fam! Hope you're having a great family vacation, Glazer.
Thanks!
Love the tips thanks .
Oh man. We're almost to 10k subs! Good morning, sir. And good morning to your kitty.
I'd love to have my matches commentated on by none other than glazer of snap judgment

Why would you play Ironman in this deck tho? Only for iron lad synergy?
wait.. i had no idea lockjaw and jubilee grab from the top of your deck. til
1:45 😻😻😻
i definitely miss it when my opponent is missing their curve sometimes 😩
I knew lad copies the top card but i thought jubilee was random, woops.. is ironjaw random or top?
Nope
hello...good luck with ur snaps everyone😁
The thing about saying play good decks and all, but not everybody has full collection, a lot of us are missing key cards
You can basically always make a good deck
Also idk if I speak for the rest of the community but if you need to go down to say 4-5 videos a week to get a better quality of videos I'd support that
I just hit infinite thanks to this video!

Awww, 5 years old Papa SnapJudge was dreaming about Wolverine! How wonderful is that! 🥰
- Great episode!

Atleast Snap only cost $10 a month! lol

Sorry Cull is still too boring for me. I would like him for the power but I can afford the keys and he doesn't seem fun for me
