As a player who’s been infinite quite a few times, my number one tip even above knowing when to snap is not playing Snap when you are tilted. I’m guilty of doing this and losing 10+ cubes in games I could have just left earlier. Playing snap when you’re irritated usually causes to make rookie mistakes like staying in games you shouldn’t or misplaying/playing too fast.

This tip #1. I just hit 99 5/7 one game away and played safe many times but kept getting bad draws and match ups and ended up going full tilt and dropped to 86. I’ve hit infinite every season and conquest but this season is horrible
THIS! I used to switch decks and get frustrated and then the locations and cards started turning against me and I'd start playing odds instead of retreating. I went down 4 ranks and almost tossed my phone.

I've only hit Infinite once during the Guardians season. Golden Mixtape card back was actually cool enough that is pushed me towards getting it. Most Infinite card backs don't really motivate me lol. But I also found it hard reaching rank 90 last season. Kept going up, then down.. then up... then down. Then it was the last day and I was like... I'm too young to have blood pressure issues. So I stopped lol. I probably still have blood pressures issues but If I ignore it, it's kind of like Schrodinger's blood pressure. That's how that works.
Oh man so jealous. Guardians was one season I didn't hit infinite...just couldn't figure out a good deck to climb and ended in the 60s actually one of my worst seasons all time. This szn got infinite my fastest. But that mix tape card back is soooo nice

My problem is I play too little and am not interested in sweating too much. Past few seasons I usually hit 90 and then chilled out in conquest mode farming rewards. It’s not worth the stress for me 😄

I love that you and other content creators are informing so many people about the “boomer snap” scenario. Mainly because if I have no way to win in hand T6 I boomer snap as a bluff and players almost always retreat like bots 😂
yeah and if they call your bluff you can't retreat yourself and end up losing double. Is it still worth it?

As good as the information is in this video on strategies to reach Infinite, even better is the information on Cube Management, which I stick at. I love how Deck Win % is the metric most often used to gauge a deck, but for me it's Cubes Won. I have a good Win %, but I'm winning 1 or 2 Cubes and then when I lose I lose 4 or 8 Cubes...ugh! Another thing I’ve noticed about the bots is the speed in which the match starts/the reaction to a turn ending after you snap. Usually the PFP and name gives it away, but it’s becoming more and more clear when you hit the play button and you’re instantly in a match - that might just be a bot.

Thank you for the video, Nina. I've been playing since beta and never went above rank 83. Seeing newcomers with series 1-2 decks get to infinite or watching live streams where they start a whole new account and time how many hours it takes them to hit infinite feels really irritating. Which also makes me question what's the point of using or trying new cards.
I saw people hit infinite who I would have never thought of, which makes me even more miserable while I am playing, wondering why I am not capable of doing the same. I do not consider myself a dumb person, but I guess I am not smart enough after all.

I recently started playing the game about a month ago. Prior to watching this video, I was hard-stuck in silver, but afterwards I skyrocketed to infinite in just 5 days! Building a solid deck and knowing when to snap versus when to retreat are extremely important concepts, and this cannot be understated.

I've been hitting infinite every season starting in the spiderverse season and the way I got to that was relatively gradual but it worked. Each season for a few months prior to that I just tried to gain 10 more ranks than what the reset bumps me down to at the start so going from 20 to 60 then 30 to 70 and so on until I was going 60 to infinite in the spiderverse season and now I just need to go 73 to infinite which I typically get to around the end of the 2nd week of the season. It's not as exciting and impressive as gaining 80 ranks in a season but by just keeping a little bit ahead of the season reset I got there in time without changing how much I play.
I saw this video around the end of last month, but wanted to hit infinite this month so every day I played while committing to an aggressive discard deck, and I LITERALLY just hit infinite just now, thank you very much. W advice

My no1 tip will be to abuse hot locations, make a deck that synergises with the location and farm cubes
Thats one reason I wish we could go back to 48 hour hot locations lol. I love using a deck to synergized with the hot locations and farming cubes off people that can't bring themselves to play anything other than what they are used to.
Edit: Having Legion during a Hot Location (depending on what that location is) can be so satisfying too.

I never reached infinite (max level 89) and I gave up trying when conquest mode arrived. Much more fun than the stupid ranked mode.

I hit 100 for the first time during the Loki season with a Silky Smooth deck. Last season I couldn't get past 86.
I need to thank you. I've been going crazy wondering why most of my opponents seem to ALWAYS have the EXACT counter to my play. Like being shanged on turn 4 when playing my sentry. How did they know???? Well... Bots. Thanks.

I made a spiderverse deck that only uses spider man type heroes and symbiotes (venom, carnage, silk, 2099, etc) It makes almost no sense but I managed to beat proving grounds a few times. it's fun knowing your opponent has no idea what is going on
I have never achieved the infinite rank before, but it is something I would like to accomplish. I am currently focusing on reaching the Champion rank in Teppen.
3:38 This is why I never listen to streamers or TH-camrs that say to never Boomer Snap. I will continue to Boomer Snap because it works. So many people stay in... That's probably most of my 8 cube wins to be honest. Sure they could retreat and I could get 1 cube, but if they stay because they just wanna see, I'll get at least 4 cubes. Which happens far more often. Even though I only do it when I have a pretty good idea that I'll win, people will still stick around. I guess I am sometimes one of those people who stick around and then ask myself why I didn't retreat when I had the chance sometimes lol.

Worth knowing, the meta can be quite different when you are at lower CL.
9:40 is true nina once let someone invest into that Nexus well she spread her power out and then last turn she stormed it and screwed the guy over. I used that in my last game to hit infinite 2 seasons ago for 8 cubes lol

I've hit infinite a few times, but my biggest problem in hitting infinite is not playing enough, there times I can't play that much, and times when I could play more but I'm not in the mood, so there's that.

Good tips
Well I got to infinite on the very first season I played Marvel Snap which is right now. It's actually quite easy. Retreat when you realize you can't win. Snap on last turn if you know you will win.
An easy tip is this. On the last turn, if you are winning two locations, but losing one. If you can, attack the losing location. This will almost always guarantee a win, since the opponent must attack one of two other locations, they cannot defend and attack at the same time. (Unless you're in pool 4 or higher, since I'm only in pool 2, because cards like Dr Doom or Galactus can fuck you over). Consequently, if you're losing 2 locations, it's best not to gamble and just cut your losses. If youre losing 3, just retreat unless you have some magic ace. And always snap.
Can confirm retreating is a grand majority of the climb. +10 ranks in half an hour with proper retreating.
You have (give or take) at least a 3 loss window to Win 4 or 8 cubes.
Lose 3 (1cb) games and win 1 (4+cb) game and you’re still positive.
The fact win rate doesn’t actually matter in this game is NICE

Retreating on boomer snapping is such a good piece of piece of advice! This is something I work on everyday
Meeting sweaty tryhards very well describes the Marvel SNAP experience now. It started as a casual game but some people are taking it too seriously. It can never be truly competitive with this amount of randomness of the locations and the complete lack of any consistency cards.
I've played since the game came out (minus a couple month hiatus), I've never hit infinite, and all I've ever wanted were the cool card backs.
The whole reason why I play this game, is because of the art and pretty colors; since I'm f2p and never get to play with the awesome new game-pieces (I still don't have Dark Hawk, as an example).
I always go for fun, usually Deadpool destroy to 90, then go Tribunal to infinite.

Nice video and advice but a fundamental factor that seems to get missed is time dedicated to the grind. Not everyone can play for hours at a time and this is a very big contributor to success, especially early in the season success, yet it very much feels like the elephant in the room given no one who hits infinite mentions it.

@@joeyfantana2724 i actually play the game less than that. i only really play a lot on stream days but on my off days i only do my missions.
I play for ~30mins-1hr everyday consistently and I’ve been hitting infinite consistently as well (~rank 1000-2000). I just hit infinite later than most others, usually 2nd week into the season. I don’t think grinding would create a significant gap as long as you clear the dailies. I found it useful to watch high elo gameplays and listening to the analysis of decks, through which I’ve learned deck building along the way.
I’d argue that the lower play time affects more about conquest. I’ve only managed to play one infinite conquest so far due to the long format. I won mostly by luck and I might have better confidence if I can play more and learn more about the decks. In ladder I think as long as you can identify the archetype and big play cards (Shang/Alioth etc.) you should achieve relative success even with less practice of the decks. My personal suggestion would be to watch some meta reports and deck gameplays, and find one that you feel comfortable with, identify the weakness and breakpoints so you can retreat correctly, and worrying about aggro snapping / counter snapping later.

The best climbing tip I have is to enjoy the deck you're playing. It makes the climb less of a chore, and the losses (especially the bad ones) will be easier to recover from. Playing a deck simply because it's good and still losing with it is an easy way to tilt and play terribly.
Also, take breaks and do something else if you're not playing well. If the game is stressing you out, it's probably a good time to focus your attention on something else
i am still missing 51 series 3 and i am at collection level 1700 should i push for infinite i barely madi it to vibraniuam last season through too many bots
I legit keep saying that Marvel snap should be thought of like a fighting game in that you should def focus one deck in particular if you want to get better and in fighting games you know the enemies moveset so you know their options and in snap you play similarly always assuming they have their best option since decks are so small. There are a few other aspects that make it feel like it a bit more than most card games. Mirror matches also feel similar to mirror matches in fighting games. Like exact same decks in hearthstone may not play the same stuff or see the same cards as each other but 2 exact same in snap you'll see mostly similar cards
I feel terrible. I have been playing since pretty much retail launch, in October of last year. I have never hit infinite, which is extremely frustrating. I've got an almost 11k collection level and have every card as of now, but still no go. I DO have the issue of playing too fast a lot of times, and staying and not thinking while frustrated, but still. I just can't read through plays sometimes and lose for dumb reasons. Last season I hit 93, and as of this writing I'm at 75, and keep bouncing from 74 to 77. I have stopped playing all together twice, but came back later on within a few days. It makes me so so sad because I feel like I should either know better or play better by now, and still can't. I even play a "safe deck," in Shuri Sauron, but still lose. I made it to 90 with a Nico destroy deck last season. Someone commented once before that at least I have the Spider-Man card back from the first season so that was a boom, as virtually no one has it. I still feel at a loss, though.

I always try to get my Infinite at the first week of the reset so that I can do anything for the following month. Mind you my work is hectic and I try to squeeze in tournaments as well to keep my life more hectic! Thank you Nina for this video ❤

Last season I got to a point where ALL the bots I encountered were cheating bots all of a sudden. Like, WHY IS THIS A THING???
But if I don't switch through 15 decks a day then how will I find if the deck Cozy said was the ultimate meta annihlator will actually get me any meaningful wins
I gotta be honest I hate when I get “boomer snapped on” and I try to tell myself I’m not staying in for these players they can have my 1 cube but sometimes they get me
With the exception of Guardians season (that was rough), I've hit infinite since Hit Monkey and i still struggle with the climb. Deck swapping definitely puts you lower considering you need to put the time to learn the deck. As exciting as some of these decks streamers show, stick with what you know until you get to infinite. THEN you can play around...
The ladder is bullshit if you play the same deck or even just doing good the matching with give you either God bots or players that automatically counter you I stop at omega then stop

I agree that hitting infinite it's really no big deal progression wise, but 90 is xD that 500 gold goes a long way each season. That's the goal I push for every season, and then infinite it's just the cherry on top because it makes it easier to hit 90 the next time. Card back is meh, the infinity border it's the real sweaty player trophy xD
I am pretty tired to marvel snap after getting to infinite in modok season and take I break for 3 or 4 seasons and only came back at Loki season.
Without getting sweaty so much than previous ones and even without Loki, I managed to get my infinite in the beginning of second week and event hit to rank above 3k as causal player.
P.S, Even I don't play for long but I watch the streamer sweaty in TH-cam and twitch and catch the meta as well😂😂. The deck i used to climb the meta is shuri sauron and still legit in today meta

I played when snap was very new, quit, came back a month ago on a fresh account. Had zero trouble hitting Infinite as a Pool 1 player. This season I'm early in Pool 3. No trouble hitting Infinite. Nobody, *Nobody* should have trouble getting *to* infinite, because ranks 1-99 have plenty of bots(which is good for you) and you're matched on collection level.
Hitting infinite is *not* a skill challenge. It's a time-challenge. And if you don't want to spend the time, that's reasonable. But if you want to "really" play the game against real players, you kind of need to buckle down and put in the work.

I was playing because I thought this rank was what was important and I somehow was bad at the game if I didn't hit this milestone. When I stopped caring if I was ever going to break through and hit Infinite, I finally did. I didn't start playing because I wanted to climb the ladder and I didn't keep playing because of it either, I play the game because its fun. So I play the game for fun and while I did hit Infinite a couple of seasons now, I also didn't hit Infinite last season, and I don't really care one way or the other. I experimented with so many decks I was putting together and it was the most fun I had in any previous season, including when I was hitting Infinite. Have fun! If you are not having fun, why are you playing the game? Cheers!

How to hit infinite, be lucky. I was playing against my friend and it was an ongoing ms marvel deck. I've had b2b2b opening hands of all 5+ cost cards. Aka 4 of 4 high costs. Feels like that wouldn't happen mathematically. So I have to play discard or loki and nothing else.
Want an excellent tip to hit infinite? Play conquest early in the month and practice decks to find what suits you and what you win with most. Then continue the climb when some of the tougher competition moves on into Infinite. ❤️
The best/worst time to climb is during hot location and not knowing when to not play. Especially during loki season sd had triskellion running and now during ms marvel has project pegasus and turn 2 prof x every game. Just let the sweaty players play other sweaty players and turn 2 lock 2 location out. 😂
Ehhhh went from 97-100 once project Pegasus dropped with good ol reliable Thanos control. Just play to your strengths if you feel like it’s washed then you’re right in just waiting till it passes to push up again 🤙🏽
Def saw only Loki and Electro marvel ramp in the 90’s. Was str8 sweat this season it seemed so far maybe 1 bot smh
easiest way is to make a deck that counters the new season pass card the first week and you'll climb as fock
Most important hint:
Don’t play at the start of season. When season starts there’s a lot of gigabrain digital athletes who only play tier 1 decks and do their best to reach infinite asap. It’s hard to compete with them, so I recommend you to wait one week until nolifers disappear and you will face regular people.

Why I can't hit infinite, I don't play enough. generally I just play until I get my missions done, usually just 6 missions a day 3 bonus missions on weekends. unless they are annoying I can usually clear them with about an hour of gameplay each day. I'm not wasting my gold on extra missions, need that to by cool card variants. so i only play about 1 hour a day and spend the other 23 hours living the rest of my life. getting knocked down 30 ranks every month when you don't even go up 30 ranks every month dose not help either.
