So fun fact: the cowplant skull parts are stated to have the sentence "I will avenge you" carved onto them by claws. I have a theory about why Greg might dislike cowplants...
@@ngominh259 It was Greg's "Fated Mate" Edit: While the "friend" also died to a cownplant, the "I will avenge you" combined with Avelina being his fated mate, and confirmed to be deceased is what makes me believe she also died to a cowplant (I think Avelina dying to a cowplant is info from the book "The history of Moonwood Mill")

My fated mate turned out to have the Vampire Family aspiration! The drama! But I've turned her into a vampire after having their first kid and there's been no negative sentiments, I can only assume because they already had high relationship. But their second kid was just born and the werewolf parent had a slightly negative relationship with the child, so I assume he's a vampire. It's been interesting learning how these family dynamics function.

Something I've discovered is that your sim continuously builds fury while in beast form, and it rises ever generously higher if you aren't adhering to your temperaments as they rear their heads. A healthy cocktail of time spent in human form and activities such as jogging [going for a wild run], using the exercise machines, or punching bag, and doing things your sim enjoys will all do to lower the fury meter. There are also special temperaments, colored in blue rather than red, that reduce the decay of certain [it varies on the temperament, or blessing, if you will.] needs. These temperaments can be acquired by performing the Lunar Howl ability, which can be done once every night, but once done, tops out your fury and makes you go nuts like a typical rampage.
fun idea for a house with this pack, we’ve already done the creepy vampire basement with coffins and cobwebs, now picture this, creepy werewolf basement with lots of cheap furniture for full moons or when their fury gets to high.
The baby werewolves howl when they cry! And it’s so cute I’m tempted to let them keep crying And the toddlers complain about fangs coming in and love to eat raw meat! And the bite their toys….
My werewolf is a Fresh Chef, so excellent foods come naturally and raw meat becomes blue steaks for her to contribute. She borrows the Collective's grill to make stuffs all the time. It gets weird when Rory keps giving her packmate gifts all the time. I let her come to Rory's house to cook stuffs together and Rory turns out to be her fated mate. Afterwards I let her become the Alpha and overmaxxing by just trapping her in a sealed room by the library whenever she becomes enraged to pee and howl all she wants, boosting the bar amazingly fast. Then invites loads of sims to become friends of the pack, tries diplomacy, asks if they want to become werewolves, bites. Voilà. Until now I have had 12 wolves in my pack.
I really wish we could’ve seen more abt the relationship of Wendy and Rory, it would be cool if they had their own spinoff story abt their love from different werewolf packs
I've already modded the mates thing because it was just too quick (heard 50%) but also one for any Sim to be a fated mate. Which did result in my werewolf mated to an Alien Sim who hates children, is self-absorbed, and is lazy
What it takes to take on the alpha? There are 3 things you should consider: 1. Fitness skill. Fitness skill affects your overall strenght and higher fitness will make your chances at winning higher (a lvl 10 fitness skill vampire with lvl 3 supernatural strenght ability has high chances of beating up Greg [but not 100%]) 2. A werewolf ability that increases your chances of winning combat. It's one of the highest level abilities for werewolves. 3. A werewolf ability that makes positive effects of the moon affect you during the day (I think that ability is in the middle). One moon in the entire moon cycle increases combat abilities, so getting that effect for yourself and not letting the alpha have it is a pretty good move. Be aware that Rory already has high fitness skill, and she's known to autonomously exercise. I'm in the middle of actually working on that plan, and all that is left is the fitness skill not being high enough. Hope that helps 🐺
@@maria.cheredko No problem, I'm going to play the sims 4 today and continue my work towards making Rory's son become the new alpha (only for the aspiration, I'll get Rory to be an alpha again and then I'll join the moonwood collective) Edit: finished all werewolf aspirations not counting the cure, the cure aspiration reward is just getting moon cycle effects regardless if you're a werewolf or not (so if I want to continue playing as a werewolf I won't do it, because the reward would be useless if I decided to turn them back into werewolves). Edit2: I managed to use lunar howl to give myself 3 temperaments "unique to the lunar howl ability" and 1 easy to avoid temperament. Combine that with aspiration reward from the moonwood collective aspiration, full moon immunity and somber howl (or whatever it's called in english, it's the ability that lowers fury) and you might as well never change. There's also room for using certain abilities, so it's not like you just have a normal sim without drinking the cure. If you want to know if the temperament you have is "lunar howl exclusive", it's colour is blue, and the description says that it lowers passive fury gain.

is way too easy finding your werewolf soulmate. the first time my sim flertes with Volkov they were defined soulmates (or whatever is the name). I think the first wolf you talk is automatically your soulmate
How it works is if your werewolf sim flirts with another werewolf you have a chance to become fated mates, it seems more likely for it to just be the first sim but technically it's just a chance.
It worked for me the first try too, I think they made it easy on purpose so that players could get the fated mate they want, but I think it would have been cool if the game picked your soulmate for you and you had to try to find them and decide if you wanna be with them. It would create a lot of fun drama for sure
A theory on the other Sim from San Myshuno now living in Moonwood Mill: Greg? The other wolf said that they were the only one to move from San Myshuno *recently*, so that means the other person from the city has been there for a long time. Greg is one of the original Mooncasters turned werewolf. In a video earlier this week I saw someone add Greg to their household and look at their Sim form, and he looked like a 1920s NYC gangster. That aesthetic with the outfit and the Sim's build would fit in perfectly in San Myshuno, and is where a lot of players seem to go when their Sim is in the criminal career. The only other werewolf I could see it being is Lily. The city does have strong Japanese and other Asian influences in game, so she could maybe be from there.
I’m pretty impressed with this pack! If it wasn’t $20 I’d buy it, but it’s just not worth it. I swore that cottage living would be my last sims purchase unless they added horses 😂 Also, will you play any more sims medieval in the future?
It definitely is worth it, there’s more lore in this pack than probably any other previous pack and not in the way of Strangerville where there’s no replay value there’s definitely replay value in this pack but perhaps you’re better off waiting till its on a deal cause 16$ makes it definitely worth it
My girl werewolf ended up becoming fated mates with rory. They hadnt kissed. Hadnt gone on a date yet.. but then they had a bad date and were too awkward to be around eachother and so i asked lou if he was single because he had asked my sim if he should go on a date with another sim. Lou was still single but my sim was upset cuz she was "flirting" with someone that wasnt rory. On the other hand her roommate is engaged to an alien who wiped his memory because of double relationship gain. They havent kissed either 🤣
Great Videos. To keep your Werewolf from running amuck maybe build a little fenced in yard to send it to to keep it from destroying your stuff and lock it in, I believe can also get werewolf mastery that way since your sim wont be able to run off and terrorize the town.
My favourite way I've incorporated lore into learning transformation mastery is to have a good werewolf in the household who makes it a rule that during rampages, you lock yourself in a shed on the lot so as not to hurt anybody! My sim has done this himself and when his sister transforms for the first time she'll do it too.
Interacting with any vampire as a werewolf automatically lands you the half red despise bar of friendship doom. I have noted that you can sometimes counter this with the "Besties" introduction, though. Or at least knock it way down, if not obliterate it entirely.
After several attempts I FINALLY beat Rory and became the pack leader. Rory is so annoyingly good. I beat Greg TWICE before I became the alpha. Now I can kick Rory out 😈
Ok lilsimsie. there is a LOT of lore behind the collectibles, if you put them down and then deciphre them you get a lot of stuff pop up that will answer questions and leave more.
There needs to be a new aspiration for this. Werewolf aspiration: mark every lot in every world. True Werewolf World Domination. Eh... Kyle is Talor's fated *mate*. Maybe that can mean they are are only together to make an immediate family pack. "I want my bloodline to continue to lead the Wild Fangs. Kyle is a suitable mate for that endeavor and can look after our litter since I am too busy being Alpha." Wendy destroyed all of Jame's hard work. :( Tyler: We shall now be deceptively friendly.
I know this was a while ago but I didn't see Kayla use "Try to regain control" once lol would have helped with Wendy since the trait requires you to rampage WITHOUT ANYONE SEEING YOU.
Immediately after getting the pack, I wanted to beat kristopher and inherit his position, so I trained, and trained and trained... with every fitness lvl up, I challenged him again. He totally beat me up every time, until I maxed the fitness skill, and then bought the werewolf skill that pushes the chances of winning werewolf competitions. Ofc I was also an apex wolf. Only after all that I had a chance to beat kristopher, since both him and rory maxxed the fitness skill, as well as having the ability that pushes winning chances, so... yeah
I’ve learned the fastest way to get transformation mastery is to just lock them inside when their fury is getting high (before they turn into a wolf cause you can’t do anything when they already turn)
I think what would be cool is adding the fated mate chance to any sim, but just making it less of a chance. Like, what if a werewolf sim flirts with Eliza Pancakes by accident and then they become fated mates 👀👀 I think it could cause so much drama and story-building and I'm here for it Edit: Or even with a vampire?! Imagine the scandal that would cause! Flirting with Caleb Vatore and then BOOM fated mate, opposites attract, forbidden love etc
Rory will become a fated mate with literally the first sim that flirts with her (or him, Rory is a boys name where I’m from so idk) so it’s either set up that way or it’s a bug.

The lore is so great best lore I found so far SPOILER ALERT is that Lilly is a cousin of Caleb and Lilith. The Sims did the best job with this pack.

I'd say Greg is from Glimmerbrook, since he and Avelina met there. He's ancient old, not just regular old.

why is san myshuno so important to the sims 4 lore. there’s something going on here, isn’t there?
san myshuno feels like new york city to me, and nyc is the center point of a lot of movies/other media, so maybe that's what san myshuno is for ts4

Interacting with any vampire as a werewolf automatically lands you the half red despise bar of friendship doom.
I have noted that you can sometimes counter this with the "Besties" introduction, though.
Or at least knock it way down, if not obliterate it entirely.

After several attempts I FINALLY beat Rory and became the pack leader. Rory is so annoyingly good. I beat Greg TWICE before I became the alpha. Now I can kick Rory out 😈

Ok lilsimsie. there is a LOT of lore behind the collectibles, if you put them down and then deciphre them you get a lot of stuff pop up that will answer questions and leave more.
Something about the Werewolf pack has really ramped up Tess asking for money. It's a ridiculous number of requests.

Immediately after getting the pack, I wanted to beat kristopher and inherit his position, so I trained, and trained and trained... with every fitness lvl up, I challenged him again. He totally beat me up every time, until I maxed the fitness skill, and then bought the werewolf skill that pushes the chances of winning werewolf competitions. Ofc I was also an apex wolf. Only after all that I had a chance to beat kristopher, since both him and rory maxxed the fitness skill, as well as having the ability that pushes winning chances, so... yeah

Fun fact: if you have werewolves and then you howl. if you have a dog too the dog will howl with you!
I’ve learned the fastest way to get transformation mastery is to just lock them inside when their fury is getting high (before they turn into a wolf cause you can’t do anything when they already turn)

I think what would be cool is adding the fated mate chance to any sim, but just making it less of a chance. Like, what if a werewolf sim flirts with Eliza Pancakes by accident and then they become fated mates 👀👀 I think it could cause so much drama and story-building and I'm here for it
Edit: Or even with a vampire?! Imagine the scandal that would cause! Flirting with Caleb Vatore and then BOOM fated mate, opposites attract, forbidden love etc
Rory will become a fated mate with literally the first sim that flirts with her (or him, Rory is a boys name where I’m from so idk) so it’s either set up that way or it’s a bug.
I got this pack and I have been having so much fun. My sim got engaged to Lou the wedding is saturday ☺
