This REALLY shows why breeding dogs *has* to be done by professionals with knowledge! Thank you for taking us along, showing us the behind the scenes of all the work it takes to have a well rounded dog
@@Zangozzdifference is that a professional breeder has either worked with other breeders while an amateur and have intimate knowledge and relationship with their dogs. If Ms Thang didn’t trust him, he would’ve had a maligator hanging off his neck with that red puppy
My Mal, Daisy, just had her first litter. Also eight pups, so i have thoroughly enjoyed following along and learning better methods for our pups! They are 8 days old today.
I've heard of this, but have never seen it done before. Major sign of a good breeder, regardless of breed. Dogs are way more likely to have better temperaments by doing this. Also a good thing to look for is a breeder who does health and genetic testing (it's not the same as a vet visit), and does temperament testing. I can't remember at what age this is done, but it's when they are older. Thanks for showing! I've loved your content and attitude already but this is 10/10 and appreciate that you do this for your dogs.
I can see how much detailed thinking it requires to look after multidogs in a correct way like putting on gloves before touching them, weighing one by one, even giving each of them a different colored collar etc. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Fascinating! I love understanding the science behind the neurological stim! So amazing to watch how each pup handled it and how Mama Thang was just relaxing! Such an incredible environment you have created for your amazing dogs! Just awesome!!
There is no science to it. These pups would be exactly the same of you didn’t do any of that. Frequent handling does have positive socialization effects though.
@@rpdx3, I disagree with you. I believe this kind of stimulation has a huge impact on the dogs. But thanks for commenting on my message. Hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend! 👍
@@rpdx3 It also helps with training. The sooner you start doing weird things to your dogs like holding them in weird positions, touching their paws and face, nail trimming, handling, and other things, the better! It helps prepare them for things like grooming, bathing, nail trims, vet visits, emergency situations, teeth brushing, wearing harnesses and collars, and a lot of other things. A lot of people start training their dog as soon as they get them instead of desensitizing them. Desensitization is way more important than training. Your dog may be able to spin, sit, stay, place, speak, and high five, but can they handle going to the groomers? I've trained two of my own service dog and I am getting my 3rd soon, I do a lot of desensitizing daily, as well as playing noises on my TV that usually scares dogs. I did that for both of my service dogs and they were completely bomb proof! They listened no matter what and they weren't scared of anything.
Ohh my god! These pups are absolutely adoreable and those small squeeks really makes the big´ol tough heart go completely soft !🐶 ❤. Please keep posting their development
Love watching puppy ENS. This is how you build a great dog from the start. Necessary for working dogs, but great for even dogs that will just be your buddy. Makes them much more resilient and less reactive. I've heard it was developed as an Army test program for working dogs at one point. edit- Blue and Gray say your ENS is BOOORIIIIING those yawns!!!!
It’s so good to see you going through how puppies should be raised by the breeder. We have a huge responsibility when it comes to breeding dogs correctly and caring for the little ones. This is the biggest difference between backyard breeders and breeders providing quality puppies. Irresponsible people trying to make a buck give good breeders a bad name. If someone is breeding for financial benefit I personally would look elsewhere for a puppy.
I LOVED your youtube shorts you put out demonstrating your dogs and I'm amazed at how smart they are. I subscribed and will be looking forward to your videos. I love the breed!

Much respect on all aspects. I wish you could give puppy master classes at all vet practices. People need the education. I'll copy what you say in my own vet nurse clinics. My Mali also loves watching you! 🐕❤
I love those puppy sounds! It's been so long since I've been near a puppy I forgot that's what they sound like when they're that little. Very much appreciate the knowledge you share.
I loved this video so much, i want to get into dog training when I'm older, and watching his videos have helped me learn so much. Especially this one because I've never had anyone show doing this with their pups. It seems like an amazing way to insure they are great dogs. Which they will be.
Thank you so much for this video. This was so informative and entertaining. The pups are so cute and Thang is such a great mama! Can’t wait for future updates.
😂 this is some of the best advice ever. Doing this can make all the difference in the world for some puppies! Also i so wish i could snuggle the Thanglings!!!
A great example of what a breeder should be. Desensitizing them to stuff like this when they’re young makes for more temperamentally sound dogs in the future.
I did ENS with a litter of kittens we ended up with. They were ahead of the game with play and hunting instinct. They went on to be house pets of course.
Always enjoy your channel Matt. And the special way you've developed your training for the dogs. When the puppies were being born someone in the live feed asked how much they will cost. Mentioned like $20K and you kind of scoffed. Most people don't understand the dogs that are trained at the level you train your dogs today usually begin around $50k. There was a breeder in the United States that recently four dogs trained to work together That sold for over a million dollars. Watching Matt you can see the time energy and love he puts into each individual dog. Matt's dogs you can bring into a home with kids and other small pets no problem. That's not true for a lot of the protection dogs that you can purchase. And that's going to cost extra
I hope you're still doing a breeding program when I'm ready for another Mal in 8-10 years. It'd be nice to get a well bred Maligator that's been exceptionally cared for from the beginning. My Mal doesn't come from a breeder that cared (I adopted her from her previous owner, and he filled me in), sounded like she was just in it for the money. Good lines, but awful start and not great before I got her at 3.5 years. We're doing a ton of work, and she's slowly progressing, thankfully. She's an amazing dog with some not so great quirks and led me to wanting to get another Mal in the far future. Maybe when she's a senior and we've got a ton more training under her belt.
Oh my this is all new to me. Never knew things like this so important. They are truly beautuful puppies. Question from me though. When they do go to new homes are their names kept that you give them. My last shep was called rebel as he ended up with me as he truly was. Ended up nickname roo roo spoilt dog ever.
Can you also make a video how you learn how the dog learns how to walk next to you please? My malinois is pulling very hard outside the gate, in the street. In the garden she walks good next to me but outside she gets excited. She is now 6 years old, but i still can learn her new tricks.
Awesome video! The puppies are so adorable. Thank you for taking us along on their daily journey through life. I can’t wait to see what comes next after day 14. The last puppy you weighed was under 2 lbs. Does Thant mean he’s not getting enough suckling time or is he genetically just going to be the smaller than the others.
