  • Here is my quick non-pro installation from stock to LSL X01 handlebar.
    It was a learning experience. LSL X01 handlebar gives the bike more aggressive looks
    and light handling.

    Bro thank you for this. Short n sweet. My bar just came in. I'm gonna tackle it this weekend. I'll be sure to slide the clutch perch on before mounting the bar haha. Cheers.

    Btw, the throttle pulley housing is supposed to point forward, not up.

    Got the Hurricane Fat set coming and needed to see how tough it was to remove the throttle and left grip. How tough was the throttle cable installation? I think there’s pre-drilled holes. I’ve never done it. Plus after the WD..what’d you use to reinstall the left grip?

    • @JstnRides
      @JstnRides  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Throttle cable is pretty easy with grips I used WD40 and make sure you got the right tools.

    Good on you you kept the locating pins (and drilled the appropriate holes for that effect). I'm looking on swapping my own handlebar soon. Maybe for the xsr900 one that might come pre-drilled.
    Beside the topic, what's your exhaust model ? Sounded pretty sweet.

    Im looking at getting this bike but can't decide on bars - was thinking rizoma or renthal but yours look pretty good to me. Do you think its possible clip ons would work on this bike? Nice vlog dude keep it up!

      M Thomson thanks man! Theres few aftermarket handlebars out there, you just to know the right one you need. I’ve seen a some XSR’s with clip ons and its look good to be honest, but its not for me thou.

    Hi mate! The aesthetics is spectacular with this new handlebar!! Please, one question, why is it necessary to drill the handlebar? Thanks in advance!!!

    • @JstnRides
      @JstnRides  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for stopping by, drilling a holes are to to secure your controls to your handlebar. Each controls have a pins that goes into the hole so it wont rotate.

    • @JstnRides
      @JstnRides  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some are too scared to drill holes so they ended up cutting the pins and hope for the best.

    Hey,why did you drill the handlebars with the drill?
    Didn't you also have to change the clutch and accelerator cables?

      Yes I used a drill, didn’t change the cables.

      720 might be a little too short. You need to consider your cables.

    I recognise those streets! ;) with the lower bars do you get any interference from the switchgear on the tank?? Steering lock still work fine? I only ask because on my stock bars there’s not much clearance at full lock. Thanks

    • @JstnRides
      @JstnRides  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pm Pm hey man! Lower bars works fine for me. I can take u-turn comfortably and switch gear on the bend easily. The actual bike has a riser and I just kept it with the new bars. Ride safe! ✌🏽

    Any reason to choose the LSL Superbike instead of LSL Superbike Low?

    • @JstnRides
      @JstnRides  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends how low you can go and you need to consider clearence issues with the bars, maybe hitting the fairing or tank.

      @dudestoked 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JstnRides thanks for the quick reply man! How close are yours to hitting the tank? Think another 0.5"-1" would be too much?
