Thank you. It was most likely ammo related. I used the provided match ammo in this match which was expensive and didn't work which sucks. I'm suspecting moisture contaminated ammo due to there being mould in the boxes. I usually run a 7lb recoil spring and 17lb main spring with no issues, however out of desperation to get the gun to run for the match, I put in a 22lb main spring and 12lb recoil spring. Gun didn't track well at all but despite the heavy springs I still got jams and duds/light strikes. There was also a crazy amount of unburnt powder which gets in to the disconnector channel and makes the trigger feel weird sometimes even preventing reset. I couldn't go more than 3 stages due to the amount of unburnt powder. I had to field strip the gun and re oil as it gums up the rails and locking lugs. Will not be using provided match ammo again in future matches.
It was most likely ammo related. I used the provided match ammo which gave me grief through the match. I am suspecting moisture contaminated ammo as there was mould in the boxes that the match ammo came in. Also a lot of unburnt powder, after 3 or so stages I need to strip the gun and clean. During the match unburnt powder gets in the disconnector channel preventing trigger from resetting and makes the trigger feel weird. Out of desperation to get the gun to run for the match I put in a 22lb main spring, cut 3 coils off the firing pin spring and installed a 12lb recoil spring. I usually run a 7lb recoil spring, 17lb main spring and gun tracks real nice with my own ammo but I was using the match ammo for this competition. With the heavier springs the gun wasn't tracking well. Still despite putting in heavier springs the jams and dud/light strikes still occurred. Never going to be using provided match ammo for future matches.
Amazing Runs Crix!😊

Awesome job man. What was causing the malfunctions? Thirsty? Spring weights..?

Dangit man. That’s very unfortunate but I’m glad I know now not to use ammo that I’m unsure of.
is it ammo or weak extractor? or hard primers?
