Our community rocks, we have some amazing souls.. We know we are not alone and the american dream still exists across our great country. This video just happens to be about our community.
I always loved going to see my Grandparents in Goodland. They lived in a wonderful house on Cherry St. My Grandpa worked for and retired from the Rock Island RR. Grandma was an LPN for some years until her sight failed. Sadly they are both gone and rest in the Goodland Cemetery. I had many relatives there, but they're gone too. My Dad spent his teenage years in Goodland and was drafted into the Army in February of '45. I hope I get to visit one more time in my life.
Hello Henry, that's awesome. I too had similar memories. My Grandpa was an engineer with the Rock Island, and my Dad till they shut down, which is what took my parents out of Goodland. My Dad retired 5 years ago from BNSF after 43 years. My Grandparents lived on Caldwell. Their names were Dale & Beth Stull. They are also buried in Goodland Cemetary.
