In my opinion, there is a thin line between confidence and arrogance. I used to have problems distinguishing the 2 when I was younger but in general, you guys gave solid advice. You should not care what other people think of you. Instead, think of ways of self-improvement. As long as you are ok with yourself you will build self-confidence :)
All I wanted to know is whether I should tuck in my button down shirt. And then I just kept watching their videos. This maybe the tenth one I’ve seen in a row now. Good, practical advice. I like these people.
I've gone through the ringer on these issues, and heard all sorts of advice. I was (and still am) the worst at this. I would walk in to a room full of people talking and look around, stand still, and no one would talk to me, and I would get self-conscious and angry that they were discriminating or mean. It was possibly due to my childhood and teen years when I was unpopular. I can tell you these are fantastic tips that work. A lot of these are on-point. I've gotten a lot better now, and it's because I have tested out tips like these, while improving my social skills, kindness, and style, to test them in reality. Sometimes, you'll meet rude people, but sometimes, it's all in your head, they're not racist or rude, and when you put yourself out there people will respond favorably. Start small as mentioned to gradually see progress so you aren't intimidated from even starting and so you don't get scarred from a bad experience.
This video is such a gem, I have never ever commented on a video on youtube, but I just had to show appreciation for this. You guys are blessed, keep it up!

I started watching because I need help to dress myself (lol) and, I still kinda do! But your honesty. Damn. No one has that. You are such an encouraging duo, and I hope you are getting a kick out of helping people. You should! Just one thing: Dorian, 30 is not ‘older’ okay, brother? I’m now...let me count...43 apparently. But don’t feel ‘old’ per se. I think these are principles to live by. Thank you for sharing 😊
First step of having confidence for me was being honest with myself about my flaws, having the mindset that I'm the shit no matter what, and never ever explain myself regardless of what everyone thinks. Revert back to the first thing after that.
I liked this video. Confidence is a prerequisite to fashion/style. A lot of people start off with or prioritize the latter, and then struggle to see real improvement in their life.
I have learned that confidence can never come before you actually do what scares you. Experience teaches you that what you were fearing was all in your head. Of course you could fake your way into feeling confident but nothing fuels confidence like leaning into challenge not avoiding it.
1)Identify great in you Mohamed Ali " I am the greatest " 2) Practice and stay like it Try to do every small thing with confidence ( increase your level ) 3) don't ever complain instead love 4) increase your positivity 5) counter attack negativity with positivity
How to be more confident: 1. Get your grooming in check (skin, haircut, hygiene) 2. Get below 15% body fat, and put on some muscle if you are skinny 3. Buy the staple items in a man's wardrobe that Ashley and Dorian suggest 4. Read more books 5. Learn how to cook
