Khaen Music of the Lao People - ຟ້ອນລຳສີພັນດອນ

This dance is call " Fawn Lum-si-phan-done".
Lum-si-phan-done is the traditional lum (song) of the southern Lao people of Champasak province.
The name derived from the name of the area where there is thousand of small islands in the Mekong river.
Lao people is rich in culture and traditional with different lum and khap (song) from north to south. The lum and khap is accompanied by the Lao khaen music instrument.
It is performed by the national art troops in celebration of the sound of Lao Khaen music instrument is registered as the world intangible heritage by UNESCO.
