Basic checks and maintenance.
Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400x - DIY
Points to note:-
1. Clutch Lever free movement should not be more than 3mm.
2. Regular check coolant level by flashing the torch light on reservoir tank.
3. Regular check the Disc pads of both front and rear tyre.
4. Refill disc brakes. MAX level marked inside the front disc oil container. You can easily oversee the disc oil level from outside small pane transparent window.
5. Air filter change on every 5k KM or depends on riding condition.
6. Monoshock suspension adjustment as per riding style, load and condition.
7. Traction control on/off as per riding style and road condition.
8. Always use brand's recommended items .
9. Fuel tank should be always above 2-3 Ltr
10. Regular check Tyre pressure
11. Every 500km do the chain lube.
12. Service on 16k km or before. Or depend on riding style.
13. Visit service centre for basic check on every 5000 KM.
15. Get the RSA(Road Side Assistance). Current year price is Rs500.

SOCKET SIZE FOR ENGINE OIL DRAIN PLUG?

Need one small help. I did my service after 1k km in scrambler 400x. But my chain the service person has made it too tight. Cos of which im getting some sound
So now shall i leave it like it? As the service center person says it will be loose automatically. Or do i need to loose a bit? I feel worried of thr sound in brand new bike.
Pls tell

No idea but if it bothers you, relieve your mind and loosen it a Little…
