I can only attest to my American experience. I've had mechanical issues, help issues, I've had very close calls with my life and the life of friends, low-ball competition is terrible here in the south east of America, I've suffered a claim, everyone has an accident those who deny they have are lying to themselves, and it's going to expedite your aging at least a bit.
All that being said. Still better than starting a restaurant. Again, just my experience as an American in Chattanooga TN

Good point about difficult customers. There's some ppl in life that there is no pleasing . I just imagine how the ppl in their life have to deal with them and then I feel better about the situation haha . I get to go home but the guy's wife is stuck with his ass

If a customer gives me gip I put a gob in the tree nearest their house and walk away.

Biggest mistake you're making is running those little Transits you need a lorry

Lee Winger Im very happy with the capacity of them. I have my license due for the 7.2t Iveco daily. That's enough for me. I'm looking into other more profitable fields to work side by side with my Arb biz.

T.H Tree Services a 7.5 ton Iveco will give good weight and volume, I'm prefer Isuzu and Hino etc personally. I'm in Oz now, better customers here by far. I had 20 odd years suffering them in Essex and London

Lee Winger I remember you from when Arbtalk first started. How's oz?. Yeah Essex and London are what they are 😳

T.H Tree Services Oz is good mate just wish I was 20 years younger I'd of killed it here, move over to Qld if you get the chance, it's screaming out for good arborists, the Aussies are useless every out of a mewp. But you need big kit here.

Lee Winger Always a viable option Lee. Got to let me kids grow first then see where the family wants to venture off too. I'm free to move anytime 👍. Much better way of life Id expect out there?.
