Beautiful plant I wish would grow better in Arkansas 7B. Planted 13 with 3 still alive. Planted in full sun, going to try part sun next. Afraid of it turning green though. Regular green Oakland and Robin Holly’s are thriving in full sun here.
Hi, after reading your comment I’m second guessing my purchase of one just recently but have not planted it yet. I’m 7a Oklahoma. The spot I need it for will have a few hours in hot sun in late afternoon but mostly just bright indirect full sun from morning till around 4pm. If you don’t mind to answer, how does success look if I plant there? I thank you so much if you take time to answer💚

It survived the scortching summer this time in texas also a hard freeze of -10 degrees. Its a great plan. I just wished it grew little faster.

We have three of them. They totally defoliated in December. All three are coming back slowly. Zone 7A. Middle Tn
