According to James Chirillo, when we play rhythm guitar in big band with an archtop guitar, strings must be set up at least a quarter of an inch (6.35mm) on the 12th fret above the finger board . In fact , pictures of Freddie Green or Marty Grosz show me that their strings are set up very high . I want to know your opinion about this.
This is PERFECT for someone at my level… I just wish I could see your left hand a bit closer, or chord diagrams, for those of us who are trying to learn them! Thanks for posting!!
very nice guitar sound. the best american sound!!
Sounds amazing, great playing and great choices! 👏😊🎼🎸🎵👍
Sweet and swinging!
Thanks!
Outstanding, Uli! You've got such a great swing feel. And I love the sound of that Epiphone. So, that exact guitar was Bucky's? Amazing!

Gosh Uli, I'm embarrassed to say that I have been playing the chords wrong for some time now. Thanks for righting my ship!
There is no wrong or right, just different possibilities or as the old saying puts it: „All ways lead to Rome“
