    In one of the Master's talks, one of the Korean attendees, asked Master Seung Sahn ( in the Korean language),
    "What is Zen?"
    "Sky is blue, clouds are white", replied the Master.

    I'm going to send this talk to my brother Ed and sister Kristin. They wonder what zen really is. This video is one
    of the best answers I know of.

    Wonderful Dharma talk ^^ Thank you! Could anyone recommend any Zen Masters and/or temples in Japan? I live in Japan, and unfortunately Kwan Uk doesn’t (yet) have a center here

    Even if the entire World is at peace & no conflicts or wars, but at individual level, anyone still suffers as each One has a physical human body & mind;
    Which came from birth, grows up, ages & decays, suffers pain of sickness & ailments, and eventually sorrowful death!
    To yearn for peace & harmony in Humanity is simply delusory! In fact if it that were to happen - it negates the Buddha-dharma!
    A monk asked the famous Tang Dynasty 6th Patriarch Hui Neng - What is Suffering?
    He replied Blissfulness!

      Who said death must be sorrowful?

      At mundane level it IS sorrowful.
      At Supramundane level it is Blissful!
      Then HOW do you know - it is or is not sorrowful?
