Imagine educating your child on the dangers of The Devil and they say we are violent. It’s so sad
All races have violent and evil human beings..wish it wasn't true. But it is.
@@gurnblanston3210 I know that. I have conservative view BUT NONE of them care about Black people. It’s like going from 1 master to another when they both believe in slavery.
@@luluinterrupted9213 they do but who did this? Who are we talking about? Who made this brutal crime not a crime? Who stood around with offspring smiling and watched people get lynched and set on fire who watched people get castrated and hung ? In 1900’s mind you. We not even talking about the fact that we have bad ppl in every race they outdid themselves. The race as a whole condemned their own if they weren’t on board. Nobody asked about what all races have.
@@gurnblanston3210 don’t question me
@@jslack8973 it was black Africans who sold black Africans into slavery, every single race has been slaved - it was whites who stopped slavery.
Dear God Almighty!!!! The awfulness of all this family suffered. Is there no justice in this world.
My husband who was born and raised in Mississippi, born 1956, a black young man, took me to the school he went to and it was still segregated then. I just so unbelievably sick that human beings, children of god are treated so badly
My husband went to high school in SC in the early 90s and though the school was integrated, they had a black homecoming queen and a white homecoming queen. 🤦🏾🤷🏾 The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Knowing what I know about that time I couldnt imagine sending my black child to the south
No one would expect this to happen
I have been crying all morning...I can't imagine anyone living through this.
Dry your tears. Our God is loving and merciful, and he will correct every wrong that has been inflicted upon us. "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, I shall repay!"
Still in the heart. Still in soul. Still in the spirit. Still in the DNA and still in their chromosomes.
This young man’s future was stolen from him from him, and people don’t won’t this being taught in school when it is still happening to this day? I’d say it’s unbelievable, but sadly I can believe it, because until we as a nation acknowledge racism, it will always be a problem. It will never be something that died with slavery.
@@gurnblanston3210 But I learned that in grade school. What the hell are you on about?
Him and his father died the same way. This is so sad.
I never knew it till now

Man them black ppl had it super duper rough back then. I remember my great grandmother being 80-90 yrs old when she died in 1990; I used to just look at the wrinkles in her skin/her thinned out hair/her boney frail frame and wish I could step inside her spirit and see what she had to deal with with them white ppl in the south over the course of her life
I can’t imagine someone doing something like to a child or anyone. Those men were the devil itself
He was so handsome, RIP Young king.
No weapons formed against us shall prosper.
6:17 best First Lady ever
Omg that’s just terrible. Not only was emmett murdered his father was blamed ,convicted and murdered too. Poor miss Maime what a strong woman God fearing 💐❤️
Forgive me for upsetting anyone, if this country should immortalize anyone, it should be Emmit. He was a innocent young man taken away in a vicious cruel manner.
Don't immortalize a career criminal.
This breaks me bad.🥺
I just wish they never went to town in Mississippi after they grandfather and uncle said not to. It was much different down south than up north
Dear God in heaven what a horrific tragedy how does a human being does that to another. He was just a kid Emmetty my heart❤is still aching till this day.Your mother was
a strong beautiful black woman. She wanted the world 🌏to see👀what those animals did to you . Emmett praying 🙏you are RIP GLORY BE TO GOD OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR. 💙❤🙏😭🌹❤😇.
Wow I didn’t know that happened to Emmett’s father. That’s so horrible. She said “no” and they still took their lives just because.
This same racism goes on today just in a different way, especially with the police departments.
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST HORRIBLE STORIES EVER AND ITS TURE MY GOD LORD EMMITT I CAN'T IMAGINE THE PAIN HE WENT THROUGH I ASK AND HOPE GOD TOOK THAT PAIN AWAY JUST TOOK HIM TO GLORY 😪😪😪😪😪
After Emit's father dying the way he did and the way he Emit was, I would've never sent him down there..
I would've told Mose about the whistle
@@kindramassaline7402 Many don't even want their kids outside now,,, in the climate back then and especially in Mississippi, I definitely would've decided against the trip knowing he's not a bad kid but not experienced and knowledgeable about Mississippi Jim Crow culture..
@@kindramassaline7402 the whistle is after the fact, but yes if they decided to tell Uncle Moses about the whistle and perhaps send him back, Bryant and jw. milam we're coming for blood, someone had to pay the price for whatever happened at the store and they went and found exactly who they were looking for..
@@84potions exactly I dislike that happened to him. I mean the fact that some say Carolyn Bryant was attractive smfh 🤦 😒 😕 🙄 🤧. I am so disheartened to hear that something like this happened in the country that I live in, to a boy who’s age I once was, and looks like me. What world are we living in man
if Emmett didn’t go, lord only knows 🥺💓
Sad truth about are world
I was in Chicago recently, iv been many times but for some reason i was moved to visit Till's grave At Barr oak cemetery. I walked over a hundred plots before i was able to find Emmett's. The ground was soft, like the dirt was just disturbed && hadnt settled yet. It was soggy like a million ppl had cried over his grave && it hadn't dried up yet. I couldn't remember if it rained the night before but his plot was so much more wetter then the others.I dusted the leaves from his head stone && left him some change. My friend left candy. It was an overwhelming experience. I feel like i didn't stay long enough. Like i couldn't cry long enough to express the sorrow, the pain, && the regret that i have for him dying that way. I didn't wanna leave him. I guess cuz I imagine that he felt paralyzingly lonely with thoes men who stole him from this life. I felt like i left the cemetery to soon. I could have stayed && cried for hours && still wouldn't have cried enough for him.
God bless his soul
There is so much pain in this. And in everything there is something positive. We might be very much hurt by this story but we are gaining something. Only God knows what exactly

Neither would mine n myself included. Hell I might move back to DC n I dread driving through South Carolina.
Omg both him and his father were both killed for almost the same thing except Emmett was far worse case how sad
I still can't believe what this childs family is still going through . Just because he was whistling at a white woman. Who then killed him and still free. #JusticeForEmmitTill.

He really wasn’t he? Gorgeous smile but I love his little chubby cheeks! Honestly he looks like the kind of kid you just want to give a big bear hug to and then pinch his adorable cheeks… he really was handsome but look at his mom: she was stunning.
He really was
If his father was alive at the time, I do believe he would've killed Milan and Bryant

The parallels between what happened to his father and what happened to him, are crazy.
His father was lynched for no reason.
Sick ish!!
Prob felt guilty regretted that day hard for any mother prob felt like she lead him to his death
What a handsome boy Emmet was.
Who is singing the Jingle Bells song at 4:19?
WHY IS OLLIE SO CUTE?!

No disrespect to Mrs. Till but it's no way in the world I would of allowed my child to go back to what I ran to get away from. Knowing all you had to endure in Mississippi.
You want to know why she allowed him to go ?
Love to read watch movies videos documentary of this ..
I never understood 'racism' as a child, and at an old age I still can't. I only saw people. I was lucky to be born in Antwerp from a midwife who took me to visits of families whose babies she helped delivered, all the different colours, ethicities, beliefs. As a child you'd play with everyone, the kids that were not nasty, nothing to do with skin colour or something. I cannot grasp why the US is still so segregated. I cannot. What happened to both Emmet and his father is beyond my understanding what community living should be like. 💕
