My only suggestion is to place a few handfuls over top of the Gainer Caps of soil to cover the bottom of the tank then poor in the rest. Otherwise, when you poor it in and spread it out it will push all the ferts to the edges....

I had a question. Can these plants be grown in a outdoor water lily pond? It gets 5-6 hours of sunlight
no.
The only plant in the video that will survive this is both rotala varieties shown, all other plants shown requires CO2 to survive. Rotala will do good in outdoor pond set up but still won't look as vibrant as rotala grown in high light + CO2 enriched set up combo. Personally I think it's good enough (it is also a famous plant for healthy low tech set up).
@NihlusGreen That's what I was thinking. The color may not be the same but the plants should grow
@NihlusGreen The reason why plenty of plant species like HC Cuba can only live in high CO2 enriched water is because some natural bodies of water (underground springwater, ponds etc) do have significantly higher CO2 level due to thick layers of natural decomposition in the soil bed and even geothermal activity.
Aquariums and man made ponds don't have the same process that creates those CO2 rich environments which is the reason why we had subtitute it with CO2 bottles
I'm new to the Co2 Solenoid valve, recently I just bought 2 solenoid valves and after 1 hour of usage, the temperature of the solenoid valve becomes 60-68 Degree Celcius, is that normal?

@@stevenyap6454 Sorry I'm not an electrician, mine runs hot but not uncomfortable to the touch, i.e. I would guess it maybe hits the mid-40s or so. If it is fused with low power fuse - say 5 amps - I can't imagine there is any significant danger so long as it doesn't get any hotter and isn't in a confined space. Really can't be of any more help. Some of my LED lights run hot after an hour or two but they are not enclosed. Good luck.
