- I was suprised to see that there wasn't even one video of The Spoon on youtube. Clarence bumps and pushes the Warriors around under the baskets and starts off by scoring 16 points in the 1st quarter. He indeed is Baby Barkley. January 15, 1997.
His 2nd best game of his career and he from a small college, Southern Mississippi where he coaches at now.
Spoon was Awesome! He was a rock in the block in this game!
Wow remember that starting line-up for the sixers...Memories of growing up with this team!

He does a pretty good impression of Charles Barkley if I must say so myself.
Weatherspoon was a solid player. Knock on him is he was too undersized to be power forward, but didn't have a solid enough game from permiter to be a small forward. Which got him a label of a being a 'Tweener'. He had some impressive games for Philly, but it can't be denied they lossed alot of games in his tenure with the team.
They expected him to be the next Charles Barkley
Always thought he was underrated. I didn't see him play a lot but he seemed to have game.

Talent-wise they had a good roster with Iverson, Derrick Coleman, Jim Jackson, Jerry Stackhouse, Tim Thomas, just couldn't get the team going
Can we make a case that if the 76ers have a solid SF like Spoon in 2001 they have a legitimate chance against the Lakers in the Finals? I think so.
