My first thought was, "What would've been so great about mayonnaise?" but then I remembered that in the old days, mayonnaise was homemade, and from what I hear, homemade mayonnaise is truly delectable. (Someday I'll try to make my own.) I wonder if the 1920s was the time when this sauce made its way over from across the pond, from France...there's an episode of Inspector Maigret where he has mayonnaise on fish. The time period of those stories was the 1950s, I think. Now I really need to research the history of mayonnaise.
I started watching your channel for the dollhouse restoration and I can’t believe a couple of weeks later I’m typing in terms like ‘anchor hocking’ ‘fire king’ ‘jadeite’ ‘Fenton carnival glass’ etc into the search bars! I’m even trying to identify the patterns! Also these things are not as easy to come by in the UK!

Scott, We are here from Michigan, staying in Wernersville, and visiting every antique shop we can find. Many places are from people we follow including you. Philly today was soooo crowded. Went to the Pier antique show, but were a little disappointed, planned many more thrift visits, but traffic was tough on a Saturday. Had lunch on Ninth Street in the Italian markets which we found from you. Wonderful. Also a great stop is Philly Typewriter. A wonderful place with a great owner and many examples of old machines (which hubby collects). I recommend you visit. Here for another week and looking forward to every day! Hugs, Nina from Michigan
What a wonderful antique store, and with reasonable prices! You got some great glass, I love the red candy jar! I think that the amber Daisy and Button was Hobbs Brockunier from the 1880's and very reasonably priced. I would probably have bought all of it.

I really really liked the two framed horse pictures on the landing. The glassware!. That chest of drawers @ $45 - yes on the NO CHALK-PAINT DESTRUCTION. Amber glass @ the beginning - stunning
The shop is amazing! There were so many treasures. I’d have purchased the pine dresser for sure, and rest easy - I wouldn’t dream of painting it. And I’d also have purchased the little wooden lamp - just a rewiring and cleaning with a good wood polish is all it needs. And a parchment shade with flowers painted on it. I’m incorrigible, LOL

I noticed at the end of the video when you were playing the record, I noticed this blue out the window , then the red in the middle of the record, and then the purple on the record player . As corny as this may sound , it made me think🤔 our blood runs blue through our veins before it hits the air , then it turns red . and when you mix blue and red together, you get purple.💥 That is how my mind operates. lol. Love your channel . I am super interested in the gentleman with his head tucked down. Could you please give me more information on where to bed for that please ? Thank you so very much ❤️
Watching you and Vinnie on tv. He said he doesn't buy a pitcher because he sees them all the time. You often say that. I live suburban south of Portland OR...have shopped in Seattle area. Almost every item you both say that about are items never seen out hete. Many things here, not seen there. I suggest you two come to Seattle, shoo, rent a van, drive south of Portland, then to Vegas, Houston and home with all. George the Nomad and Laura Caldwell could help you with the best places.
I have the exact same style of your red candy dish but in an avocado green, I am assuming this was a repo since the color doesn’t seem to match up with the 20s & 30s. Back to my research books!

Great shop. In my area all we have are two gas stations a dollar general--Family dollar stores and two antique shops with way over blown prices. The nearest spot to shop is Cottonwodd --15 miles away and shops in Sedonna which has over priced for tourist junk. Have to go to Phoenix an hour and a half drive south for anything decent. Scott--PLEASE keep making those videos! Really like them. !
