I've read enough about HetaOni to know its true intentions. I know I'm going to regret watching this, partly because I'm a total pussy when it comes to horror games.
The thing that makes me sad it's the fact, that it has already been 11 years since the first time I watched this video. I'm 24 now, I should have grown up, but I'll always come back to Hetalia and HetaOni, to the good old days 💔

Now that I've listened to it though, it makes me cry but somehow, it would make me feel really nostalgic, and so, here I am, going to rewatch Hetaoni. No matter how many times I will watch this though, I will cry. But this time, because ai have waited for a long time, it will be worse since I realized that Tomoyoshi disconnected this game. God damn it. I'm crying already even before I fucking watch it
Ah yes, the one who starts it all. Still love how the creator put some comedy here and there (Germany's face is the classic). Despite that, we knew something is really really wrong. The lingering danger in the atmosphere is why I really like this kind of game. Hetalia characters are really versatile in both comedy and serious situation and Tomoyoshi really did a really really great job combining them both. HetaOni will always be on top of my favorite fanseries. I wish they continue it, but I don't wanna pressure them. I would donate if I can. But, hey, let's stick to rewatch for now. :)
I saw Italy's icon.. then when Germany's showed up, I died laughing so hard, my mom thought i was crying and burst through my room asking what was wrong. i said: "Germany."
One of my dearest wishes is to know what the creator intended for the rest of this story to be like. I know they've been through a lot and I wouldn't expect them to continue making the game, but to just know what was going to happen would be a huge weight off my shoulders. I wasn't even the hugest Hetalia fan, but this game has one of the most compelling storylines I've ever encountered, and I am so distraught that it's gone unfinished... Every few years I find myself remembering this game, and coming back here to rewatch it. In that spirit, I guess I'll write a brief review for each video, along with any questions I have about it. Maybe together, we who remember this story can come up with some kind of answers...some kind of satisfying conclusion?
For the first time viewers: this series gets better around part 10. Sure, it starts off boring but it gets better later on. It made me cry and to really be grateful to have friends. Keep on watching! This is my 10th time watching HetaOni!
Every so often, i think about this series. I come back and rewatch it, to relive the nostalgia of my adolescent years and the beginning of my first days of fandoms. This series inspired me to write fanworks of my own and create content for characters I love. It will always have a special place in my heart.
I love how the creator had Japan exploring and examining things, like someone's playing the game. It's like watching a walkthrough. The little touches really do make the biggest differences.

I was watching hetalia and it got to the american revolution part where america opened the door and it sounded so much like hetaoni that I kinda screamed and hid under my blankets... thanx sotetag for suploading and subbing these! U r beyond awesome! And I hope the hetaoni creator gets well and is able to continue...I still laugh everytime I c germanys icon XD

This game really drives me crazy. This game is so epic and sad yet after 8 years this game are still not continuing .i cant even know about the ending. Iam really dying to know what will happen next to italy and his friends in that mansion..i have wait for this game to be continued for years. My patience is running low. Iam feel so mad and kinda regret that i dont get to see this game ending forever. I think the creator better just delete this game because I dont think the creator of this game would want to continue making this game anymore. its Better to not make people wait forever. It is just a pointless waiting for me.
The game was discontinued in 2011 after a major tsunami struck Japan. The creator's laptop was destroyed and they didn't have any backups. You can google it to learn more.
@MistressJayPom Well, the creator makes it as a game, but not with all programming done. She is basically using it to tell the story, instead of making it like a regular game. So yeah, basically the videos are like anime episodes, except using the game engine to present it to us. An early playable beta exists, but only for a very small beginning part. No others have been released.
There is a button at the bottom that says "cc" press it and pick the language you want. When you press it it should turn red and you should be able to see subtitles.
I've read that some of the characters in this game have narm icons, but as the goes on, it changes so their expressions can be taken more seriously. Hence, why Germany looks a little...odd.
