Hi Ian! Your reef tank is beautiful! I really like Synchiropus splendidus, I've seen it many times in the wild in the Philippines and it's not easy to see because it often lives inside the Acropora reefs. You have a very performing sump! Good day.
I've seen dive footage of them in the wild, it's a spectacular sight to see them spawn at night, I would like to add a female with my male and see what happens, but hard to find sexed captive bred options. The wild synchiropus should stay in the reefs unless it's a farm for breeding stock Thanks for the comment, I hope your are well Marco!
@@atkinsnatureaquariums3552 Yes, I too have photographed them in nature both day and night, it's not easy to do it because they get scared easily. You see them on shallow waters rich in acropora-like hard corals, they are very colorful.
@@atkinsnatureaquariums3552 Hi Ian, I have thousands of underwater slide catalogs because when I started underwater photography there were no digital cameras. I have a lot of material in Diapositiva and only in the last period of work (in Thailand) as a diving guide and instructor did I have a Canon digital camera with which I took many photos which is what I like the most and a few videos.
Amazing videography and editing get better every time you upload thank you for sharing this reef 🪸 aquarium experience with us and for keeping it real 💯 ❤your tank looks awesome 🤩 never give up ever 👍
