X&Y is a wonderful album. I love the fact that they've never claimed to be the greatest band or anything else for that matter, if you listen/watch their interviews you'll realize that what matters to them is that they enjoy doing music together. They don't take themselves too seriously as musicians, which is a breath of fresh air.

And I can safely say Coldplays music has touched me in a way no classical music ever has.

Please did u listen to the first two albums? songs about self loathing on basically feeling inadequate towards the opposite gender, or feeling like he'l mess up any intimacy. in my place, shiver, spies warning sign, everythings not lost.. only a handful of their songs r about specific events. do u even know how the song yellow was written, or its meaning? chris has little fabric to his lyrics mate

His mother, Alison, is very musical and is a good pianist and singer
