Hello you guy's, after watching this video I thought this link maybe of use to you so you can plan your day trips by coastal waters and not be court out from rising tides. It's a Tide Table and will give you the high and low water times for all arround the UK. Love your all informative video's please keep them coming. I hope that one day soon I will be able to meet up when I get my van finished and ready for the road.
Brilliant video, loved seeing Branston, keep them coming , that's a very beautiful part of the world I'll have to head up there soon, take care stay safe
Got a wedding shoot at Sewerby Hall today, if you had been here this week the Dolphins are back in the bay, they come down regular now following the shoals down from the Firth of Forth. There is some great footage of them off the Yorkshire Belle
I’ve really enjoyed these last two vids. Exactly how family camping should be. My family trips are mostly spent just arguing with the worlds least obedient 4 year old...
18:59..... You schoolboy! Oh okay, I'm 67 and I'd have done exactly the same. Re stuffing the van, here's my free top tip for everyone We're off on our jollies in a bit, another section of the British coastline exploration that we set ourselves as a challenge when we bought the van having already completed 1765 miles taking the NC500 challenge. For this section we have two campsites; a one nighter at the start then second day onwards we make camp for the rest of the week utilising my Vango driveaway awning. Now then, no awning for the first night so, as it takes up all the available floor space after loading the windbreak, picnic chairs and tables, outdoor kitchen facility etc, how do we get the RIB bed down for the night? Top tip time: we use the popup toilet/shower tent as an overnight storage shed! Whaddaya think of that, eh? Loved this week's edition, keep safe, have fun and here's to the next adventure Geoff @ South Staffordshire/Shropshire border country.
Great stuff Colin, as ever. Thanks for sharing. Glad the weather behaved otherwise all this relaxed “…I did it myself” awning dismantling would have been a bit more frantic! I need Michelle to swivel my front seat (that’s not a euphemism btw) I have to release the handbrake having chocked the van, slide the drivers seat right forward, tilt it forward and raise the armrest and even then it’s a struggle. Think my vans narrower than yours 😤. Can’t wait to get back up to East Yorks. Take care. 👍👍
Just loving the vid, Colin, thanks for letting us into your camper life. Thinking about an induction cooker now to go with my Ridge monkey. Keep up the great work lad. I've already bought the towels for me and the Mrs from Dubstyling, thanks to your recommendation. You should be on a commission. 😁👍
I passed Ben Nevis last week, it appears in this week's video coming out on Thursday, looked very snowy on top! Another cracking video Colin. Cheers, Kenny.
Thanks for the update bud, yep mountain conditions are still pretty tough, not worth it for a video mate, it's still on the cards though, maybe late summer early autumn
I need to share induction hob gate....I followed suit and bought the same induction hob you didn't need 😂. I can't get it to work on the inverter. Got in a strop and got the gas one out. Thought I could smell plastic burning. The induction hob cable is a bit all over the shop as it was new and inflexible. Said smell was the flex poking in to the gas flame and slightly meted it. 🤷♂️🙈
Ah thanks Jessica, that's awesome! I used pine wood cladding from b&q (there is a video on the channel showing how I made it too) then painted it white with mat wood paint.. ;)
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures what? I must of missed that video. Thought i seen all of them lol unless i seen it and forgot i watched it! I will take a look this evening thanks x
Colin can you help me please? I was so impressed with your induction hob I bought one. The one I chose went from 100 w - 2000. I thought this would be perfect as I have a Jackery 500. The problem is it starts off at 2000 not 100 😢😏 this means it blows the Jackery every time. 😕🤔Why it didn’t start at 100 and work up I don’t know 😳🙁 I’m just reaching out to see if anyone has any ideas? Thank you…love your camper ideas…. I too have a T6 😊
Ah no way, that's rubbish! I'm not 100% sure, maybe in the manual there is a setting to let you start it at a lower wattage? Mine starts at 1200 (which is fine for the EcoFlow) any higher and it would probably trip it .. hope you get it sorted :(
The white paneling on the interior wall. Is that timber or uPVC buddy? Looks nice, mines too dark and thinking of making it more lighter. That would be perfect.
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thanks booked for four nights in May to try my van out now I've finally managed to get it finished well I say finished ready enough for a trip lol still a few little bits to do but guess there always will be 🤣
Second thought: Albatross Albatross ALBATROSS!! Gannet on a stick Albatross... Do you get wafers with it? Course you don't! It's an albatross... how you going to get this thing between two wafers? Albatross!! Now, you might have to be a certain age and possess the right sense of humour to know where that's going. Here's a clue: Same stable. This parrot is dead. It is deceased. It has shuffled off this mortal coil and joined the choir invisible. If you hadn't nailed it to the perch it would be lying on its back and pushing up the daisies! It's an ex-parrot! Right, I'm off to load the van fridge.
🙂❤👍🦴 ! Keep Well all , another great video , love to the Parents too .
Mint vid ❤️✌️✌️
What a fab and cosy set up you have there now 😍👍🏻
