Your Dad is adorable. He reminds me of Captain Kangaroo who was a ginger with a moosetache. This is a compliment. I loved Captain Kangaroo, watched him every morning. Love watching y’all.
Three weeks ago I prepped my hay equipment to be sure it was ready this year. I get a nice window of weather to make a go at it... and....my haybine goes down. Didn't even get into the field with it. Ok, so I hitch up the old stand bye cycle bar. Some corndog went and stole a couple of shoes off the dumb thing, AND the PTO shaft for it. AAAAAARRRRGGGGG. Spent a couple days replacing the missing parts and welding up a new PTO shaft for it. Totally missed my weather window. I'm staged to go now, again. Just waiting on the skies to give me a shot. ....aaaaany day now.....
They all break new ones included we use 2 Kuhn 9 ft disc mowers and we cut up to 1200 acres a year I had to put a bar in one from finding a giant whole on a customers field and put one in it and now its going again good mowers like your dad fix it and get back at it new equipment is nice till it's winter and your staring at it sitting in the lot great video
New mowers can be a pain in the ass too, they only look nicer ;). And to answer your question, yes I do love the smell of freshly cut grass, or the smell of hay, just before it goes in to the baler on a very sunny day :)
Fiat Gaming 5678 by how your channel is called Fiat Gaming I’m going to presume that you like fiat, I can’t comment on them as I’ve never used them but they seem decent
These things happen even with new kit u get downtime its frustrating but when u get more than 2 moving parts theres scope for trouble . Top sevice from your mechanics though hope all is done now . Ian ...
Kinda dumb question - When you're taking a look into the mower after the bearing goes at the ~11min mark, isn't that another disk mower right behind you guys, the blue one? Or am I just totally missing my hardware ID?
Tom sorry about the mower but it has last long while so that nice but have to fix and move on with the cutting looks like it will make some nice grass silage.
Trust me new equipment doesn't mean better. Parts can be cheaper than depreciation. What we have learned is to always maintain machinery and not be afraid to spend money on parts when putting them away for the winter.
hello came up too the shop today love the shop and cows look a1. l work on a 5 robot farm in Herefordshire. we on a weekend up at Blackpool. how come you don't sell the tp merc in the shop?? keep the good work up
You may have said already but is the a.c. out on the 100 horse tractor or does it not have one I didn't know they made cab tractors without a.c. and heat
Dont feel bad about your equipment. You're doing great in everything and educating the rest of us. Thank you and your father!
Your Dad is adorable. He reminds me of Captain Kangaroo who was a ginger with a moosetache. This is a compliment. I loved Captain Kangaroo, watched him every morning. Love watching y’all.

Kinda dumb question - When you're taking a look into the mower after the bearing goes at the ~11min mark, isn't that another disk mower right behind you guys, the blue one? Or am I just totally missing my hardware ID?

Trust me new equipment doesn't mean better. Parts can be cheaper than depreciation. What we have learned is to always maintain machinery and not be afraid to spend money on parts when putting them away for the winter.
It’s always the same with breakdowns it’s either on Sunday or a midnight when the rains coming 😖
Good video
hey tom that bit of clothing you call a vest we in Australia call it a singlet .or a jacky how champion shearer enjoy the daily vlogs
I've never seen a mower quite like that one, is it supposed to have a conditioner on the back?
246th! GOOD EVENING TOM, LUKE, AND THE GINGER GUY! Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA 😊
New machinery is usually harder to fix than old machinery. The mod cons that come with new tech means it has more things that can go wrong.
Tom can you have your farm made for farming simulator
Try and track down the legend that is Chris7710 and ask him. You'll be lucky if you do.
NickOnDartmoor no! he is incapable of non arable maps.
@@MrT79shakeshake Haha it was his favourite. I've not been in the Community sinse fs13. Is he still about??
