My granddad and dad both said there is no such thing as a 5 or 6 day work week on a dairy farm. How dad managed to work both the farm and keep an outside job required a lot of "get" which they both had. I salute all the farmers for I remember well how much hard work was required. Kids fed the calves before and after school along with getting the cows into the barn for milking and getting their grain. Then it was muck out the barn and throw down hay in the afternoons. Watching your video I could almost smell that fresh cut hay. Thanks for the videos and sharing.
Great video Tom, really appreciate the effort, always really enjoy watching, but this is brill 👍🏻 farming comes first, you don’t need to apologise mate, keep up the great vids man 👊🏻
Loving it. Great job all round, sound is a lot better so don’t worry bout it and as for breakdowns......... well they don’t break down in the shed do they!!!! Keep doing what you do Tom👌👌👌 Cheers Pete
Great vid , I have a pre filter on my fuel tanks here on my farm, pto shafts take a beating on mowers and choppers , waiting on weather so I can start chopping here been kinda wet and rainy spring
Used to mow with a jf, still have a drum disc hanging on post in field from early 90s when it was changed. Have front and rear on claas now, don't ever want to go back lol
Very interesting video. You seem to be working especially hard. You shouldn't worry about posting videos when you have so much to do. The GW seems happy with the grass.
Really like this one Tom. Don't know why, but I've always like cutting grass, be it lawn or field. Just an aside, changing PTO crosses. Many years ago, younger than you I did about 6 on a Friday at work. Had a 4 week course at Rycotewood Agricultural Engineering college the following week for my exam. Got lucky, my practical test was to change........a PTO cross. Was so good I was asked to do it again, just to fill the time........so I passed City and Guilds. Can't do it anymore, but do still have the certificate 😊👍
You're really good at these videos, keep it up! I have to mow with a 1950s 5 foot Fergie finger bar mower, but soon to upgrade to a 5ft 6'' MF drum mower!
Great video as always Tom. Do you think going forward ye will continue to now yer own silage or get contractor? Seems a lot of ground to cover for ye with that machine. Contractor would probably take alot of pressure off especially when weather not playing ball
Great Vid Tom. I used to love mowing, could not get enough of it. Tell the ginger warrior to get his hand in his pocket and get some reliable mower, the cows won't appreciate hydralic oil on their feed will they. Your old man reminds me of David Bellamy when reporting on the quality of the grass, he will know who D Bellamy is lol Sticking with old knackered equipment WILL bite you in the ass one day, when you least want any hassle.
i've had some crap fuel delivered this year, changed my filters twice this year already. That pto must have had some serious flop in it to break out of the yolk bearings. grass looks at tad short on either sulfur or nitrogen not sure as they both have simlar symptoms.
Great video Tom, looks nice grass, that old mower a do another twenty years yet, as your dad said last time you never been poor so keep it going to make sure you don't go poor,!!! Will the case not pull the mower?
Good video again Tom 👍👍 one thing not in favour of is playing music through ear phones with ear defender's over the top of them simply because there are many occasions when u will hear a machine or tractor start to go wrong often before there are visible signs showin up 🙄👍👍
Fuel filter should get charged at 500,...you waited until 700....yes, that was not smart upkeep.....hopefully you learned to stay better on top of that....Love your channel 👍
love watching the vids my dream is to ride in a tractor one day as im mad on them i play farming simulator and love playing it keep up the fantastic work
Tom as I was whatching you cut grass my sister started eating peanut butter I though there was freash cut grass! Thanks for the video!! Hell only 200 hours what a crap tractor we have a case mxu115 has not had a filter change in at least 2000hrs. The new music is good!!
It never rains but pours when stuff breaks 😣. We had problems with diesel filters clogging up and found loads of gunk in the diesel tank. Apparently the boss also recieved a letter saying the fuel that was being delivered may have dirt in it!😣😒 .
The music, along with the drone footage, was an excellent addition to the video. Keep up the good work.
Titanium Man Thankyou very much
Talking about your shit are you Tom Nice mower

Great video Tom, I'm very impressed with your ability to mow grass for silage and fly a drone at the same time. Just great. Keep up the great work.
Your videos are brilliant. You keep going on the farm as you are great at both.
Great video Tom, really appreciate the effort, always really enjoy watching, but this is brill 👍🏻 farming comes first, you don’t need to apologise mate, keep up the great vids man 👊🏻

No problem Tom sometimes it happens to all of us now and then about equipment problems that usually happens on the farms and that is part of farming.

I love mowing grass on a much smaller scale 😂 although hay fever isn’t good.
Just looked in description and I literally live like 10 miles away!

Getting after it
Great video Tom! Really enjoyed this video, nice one! 👌
Used to mow with a jf, still have a drum disc hanging on post in field from early 90s when it was changed. Have front and rear on claas now, don't ever want to go back lol
Very good video, always enjoy the content. I still say give the ol' man his own mic and camera. Also appreciate music, thanks for the info.
Did enjoy the longer format of this video to be honest but just one man's opinion. Great video
Nice man. Glad you were able to overcome the hiccups.
Tom you should get a maragon mower we have one and we never have problems with it
Just goes to show the importance of servicing machinery before the silage season
True. But it's naive to think that you won't have breakdowns. So long as u have good backup service it's fine
Typical of farmers all around the world. Finish a season bang it in t h e shed and wounder why it won't work the following season .
Paul South true but there are some farmers who have evolved and actually test the equipment a month before the first cut 😛
Can't help a busted pto, best servicing in the world, won't help a burst pipe or fuel trouble etc
Great video... hurlimans are great machines
great improvement with the tunes!! Great video...again haha
How did I know that Tom was gonna wipe his filthy hand on the Tyre :) Love you and Your channel Your the best :)))
It would quicker with a front mower Tom and glad to see the silver tractors still running strong shame it’s not a dear
Really enjoy your music selection.
Thank you 😊

The editing and music kept the video lively and most enjoyable to watch. How long did production take . . . Eight hours???
Carlos Robins Thanks Carlos... it took about 4 I think? Just under
7:49 what about any decent size fish in that little lake lol
Just wandering what does the A A stand for on your cow logo shirt and van ?
Work on Sunday broke on Monday! You English farmer's always seem to get very busy on a Sunday for some reason.
Hi great video. Could you do a video on the hurliman
It never rains but pours when stuff breaks 😣. We had problems with diesel filters clogging up and found loads of gunk in the diesel tank. Apparently the boss also recieved a letter saying the fuel that was being delivered may have dirt in it!😣😒 .
