I have used castor oil for a month, initially just on my face, especially eye brows and lids as due to low thyroid problems I had lost 1/3 of my brows. The brows are just starting to fill in and my lashes seem thicker--and I no longer have dry eye problems. Now I use the oil all over, applying early evening so that it absorbs before bedtime, and my linens have not stained. I even rubbed it on my very stiff hip joint which seldom bothers me now. I don't know that I look better, but my skin feels so much better. I am 81years old.

Little did he tell me I would be on meds for ever, I"d lose all energy, I'd lose my teeth, hair etc. I hate that doc.. anyway. 20 years later and I started taking Castor Oil a few days ago, and I"m starting to feel like new!!!! @@deedee2218you want to use it every night on your scalp. I use a equal part mix of Jamaican black castor oil, grape seed oil (omega 3 and 6) and rosemary oil (stimulates the hair follicles) my hair grew in, in the bald corners by 1/4th in just a month and I’ve just started. I put it on eyebrows too. Rosemary stings, don’t use it on eye lashes. This works. you should also start changing your diet. But just the oil mix will work. And I also took orally 2 saw palmetto capsules (I’m a woman), 1 tsp of the grape seed oil, and biotene (the biotene makes the hair coming in to be thicker, I think these last three steps by mouth are optional) The last three steps by mouth daily will really make it grow in, but I think you will get results with just the mix, and before you start on all of this, try just the Jamaican black castor oil or regular castor oil mix on the scalp plus rosemary oil first to save on cost and work your way up to the other ingredients if you need more.

I do a liver cleanse 3x’s a week using a castor oil pack with heat. I lay flat and relax for an hour with a castor oil soaked special flannel on my liver area. I store my flannel n a glass jar with a lid. It goes w/out saying my oil is organic, cold pressed (hexane free) in a brown glass bottle. I pat it on my face and neck area after a nightly cleansing and exfoliation regime…. after about 45 days of use my skin feels very hydrated, my eyebrows/eyelashes are thicker and my sun damage is slowly fading.

I feel they work better when fully saturated. As you use them, the castor oil is absorbed through the skin. I lay the saturated (not dripping) flannel on the liver/gall bladder area…..cover it with a brown (not bleached) piece of parchment paper….and cover that with a heating pad for an hour…. Very relaxing.
After reading above comment….I am going to research washing my flannel. It’s been about two months…..

I love the effects my skin has had. It is soft and smooth and glows. I have been adding it to my nightly facial skin care. Soft and smooth skin on my 72 year old face! I love the stuff. My eyelashes are longer. I agree, no change in eyebrows. Maybe age spots are disappearing. Not sure if I can attribute this to castor oil. A dermatologist did say the fat molecules are very small and penetrate the skin easily taking your products in deeper. Basically, making whatever you use more efficacious!

I live on the Oregon Coast and have been having sinus infections since I moved here, 35 years ago, maybe even before. In the winter my nose would get itchy and dry and I would pick it or try to use something to soften it so it didn't itch. My nose would bleed and I would be always feeling something uncomfortable in my nasel passage. When I got Covid, it was a miserable sinus infection , no cough, just snotyy, painful muchous membranes and sinus headache. My dear friend a nurse had given me a bottle of castor oil and I didn't know what to use it for. She convinced me to try it in my nose. That was over a year ago. I haven't had a single sinus infection. As soon as I feel any itching, drying or weird feeling in my nose, I run for the cue-tips and castor oil. I am a believer. Thank you for sharing this. @@maurosalomao4481you can just use straight castor oil. No need for any other oil combined with it (for example, it’s not like essential oils which typically should be paired with a carrier oil). For a little extra benefit during times outside of the arthritis treatment applications, you can even add castor oil to your usual body lotion, experiment with a little at a time and keep adding more until the blend seems best to you. You can swish 1 tsp in your mouth for oil pulling. It really has no taste. You only have to swish it in your mouth for about 1 1/2 minutes, as opposed to 20 minutes using coconut oil. I didn't think I'd like it, but I like it better than waiting for the coconut oil to melt in my mouth.

@mdiblueraym.150 I would take a very hot bath, massage my foot in the hot water to get the circulation going. Once out of the tub, do the oil rub down, and put a dry compression sock back on. I even wore the compression sock in the tub. I did not use a carrier oil, just pure castor oil. I totally swear by how this pushed my healing to the positive. When I over do and ache, it's the castor oil rub down to the rescue!! Go for it, you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

Ohhh love that you added frankincense and myrrh! It n regards to spoilage, it could be the exposure to air. But be been using oils for over ten years, and in my experience I think the residual oil around the cap and threads in the bottle are what go first. I’ve found that a pump bottle preserves the oil let never and I do think that it because there’s less air exposure as well as accidental cross contamination of the hands.
I have oils that have lasted years and I use them as needed. Pump bottles last longer, roller or dropper bottles turn sooner. So maybe that will help!
I do actually put it in my hair, especially if I see a lot of shedding. As good as it is for lashes and brows,(hello 90’s brows!) it’s safe and beneficial for your hair too! I put it on my scalp, then massage it in. Later I brush or comb it down my hair and wash it off later at night ir the following day. If I stay home for a few days I’ll leave it til I have to leave the house.

Hi- thanks for your info. Could your expand on your concoction of not just the ingredients but how much of each or the ratio of castor oil to the other oils as that can make a huge difference in efficacy and results. Thank you!

Thank you for the video. The amber glass is on purpose as it is for most medications. It keeps it from going bad faster, from losing its strength and from oxidation. JB Castor is cold-pressed also, it's even stronger than regular Castor oil and has a stronger smoked smell than the regular one. Also, just like Jojoba oil, it penetrates the hair shafts and scalp.

I have taken caster oil internally to help with regularity at times, it’s mild and work great for me. I started with one teaspoon in my yogurt or kefir and at times have increased to a tablespoon, no issues, I love it.

As a child my Mother always gave us children castor oil. I use it as an adult for my hair, scalp, eye brows and lashes. As of lately I’ve learned that it helps with a lot more. I have an inverted nipple on my left breast and it seeps ever so lightly. I’ve been rubbing castor oil onto and into it and within the next night it stopped seeping! I’ve been dealing with that for years. Love my castor oil! ❤

Thank you so much for this video. It was very informative, I appreciate all of the research that you did and how you patiently took the time to explain everything. I would really love to see a part two. Can you cover your concoction in more detail..how many drops of the other oils do you add to the castor oil and why do you use these? I would also like to know more about your routine /steps with your other skin care products. Do you put these on before the castor oil? Are they maybe only AM and Castor oil PM only? Face only or face and body? Currently my dermatologist has me using Neutrogena Hydro Boost with Hyaluronic Acid moisturizer AM and PM and every other day Retin-A…do you think the castor oil can be used with or on top of these products? It is to help smooth my face. Do you use a moisturizer for your body prior to your castor oil concoction? I apologize for being so wordy. 😊

Well, your skin is absolutely gorgeous! Do you shower before applying castor oil at night? Do you shower it off in the morning? I have been trying to get used to it but find it sooooo stickyyyyy, and since I can't sleep in pjs, I am sticking to my sheets and pillowcases and getting them all oily. As an already hot perimenopausal woman, I can't even imagine how I will manage this in the summer! (I live in the Mediterranean) One thing's for certain, my eyelashes are definitely longer, thicker and more abundant after 3 weeks of nightly use. Thank you for your videos!

I only could find jamacian black castor oil because that is all we have locally here in Japan that i can find. Im on a base so limited options. I 100% find all the exact benefits as those that use non black castor oil. So not sure if its bad or not. Battling IBS-C for 7 yrs bowel movement is never regular. For 7 days i have used it i have gone to the bathroom every morning single norning and again later in day. Every day for 7 days. That is insane. Also my wrinkles are way less noticeable AND pain in my neck and stomach area completely gone. Zero bloating which is a huge issue i have had for 7 yrs. I am 47 and never had any health or weight issues until about 40. Many tests and was put on linzess which helps to some degree but not even close to what castor oil has.

I do have a couple questions… what is your nighttime routine prior to using castor oil? Would you feel comfortable showing us your steps?
And.. you said you use this at night.. does it then stain your pjs or nightclothes & sheets?
Thanks again for sharing. I hope you see this!

When you reach a certain age, and your hormones change, most women notice a difference in their hair growth. Hair on the head and brows can get thinner and you start getting hair in weird places that you never had hair before, and don't want it! It's a bummer! I was in my early 50s when I started noticing light peach fuzz on my face. I now do the face shaving. The castor oil did increase the peach fuzz so I can't use it all over my face anymore unless I want more facial hair to keep up with...UGH!...but I still use it on my lid and brows and around my eyes. I also do the castor oil packs over my liver and breasts. Very relaxing. I sleep with my pack on all night long. Some may prefer to use it in the day for a few hours but I don't mind sleeping with it. I use an organic cotton flannel from heritage that I got from Amazon and the heritage castor oil which is organic and hexane free etc. I recommend the heritage store on Amazon. I get no benefit from saying this, I just like their products. I did order a 25 dollar castor oil pack from Amazon, that was comfortable, to hold my heritage flannel in place while doing the packs. Some of the packs on the market are pricey. The nice thing is, once you purchase all of your goodies you'll get a lot of packs out of it... so it's not that expensive over the long haul. Just an investment up front. I think castor oil has incredible benefits for the body and is very healing.

Interesting information, thanks for sharing. I have been using an organic very, very thick castor oil that is organic from Italy and it does make my hair greasy if any hair touches it--especially at night. I might try your way of thinning it or using the oil you mention for body as this is so thick that I would use the entire thing if I tried that.
