This is your second video I have seen and love the way you present your content and captured all the details using a microscope. Regarding this Jio vs Airtel, I have been using Airtel Broadband (now Fiber) for more than a decade now started at 1mbps and today I am at 300mbps. Similarly after buying Xstream box, It has converted my non-smart TV to a Smart TV. The money difference is not exorbitant which Airtel charges, so doesn't make any sense to compromise over speed, service, consistency :)

Airtel is much better because it has Static IP option (Rs. 99 only extra for the same) + you can open port in Airtel. Which is must for developers. Where as Jio do not provide port opening + no static IP option (Jio's corporate plan offers static IP option costing plans around Rs. 6k starting which is too High for individual usage). So better to go with Airtel.
Yes I'll agree to the extra airtel speed being provided anytime, and also I think Airtel is a better option for gaming, they provide better routing to international servers and their NAT type is also open or moderate which makes it easy to play many other multiplayer games. I use the 200mbps plan and for the playing online and live streaming part, I'm satisfied with its performance.

I am using Airtel for 15 years. I rarely have a problem but when I do, I raise a complaint. The problem is resolved within 3-4 hours. The service is truly excellent
Airtel has always been looting customers with respect to the cost of service.. I have Tachyon broadband ISP in my city Lucknow providing 150 mbps at at 699 and 100mbps at 499 since last 3 years, with pings less than 5ms, rarely had any issues with it, local ISPs are much better value for money.
OTT apps can only be used through their STB boxes, but if i compare the difference in price of plans, i can buy yearly subscription of more apps that they offer easily and use on any number of devices.
Things have changed a lot since this. I use jio fiber in Banglaore. Installation charge / Security deposit is 1500 which is refundable. First month free trial. Truly unlimited without any data cap in all plans. My Plan speed is 150mbps and I’m getting 149mbps. Ping is less than 5ms. This is the best internet service i ever used. And this created a tough competition for others. In my street Act and Hathway are kicked out totally the companies took back all their equipments. Airtel is still surviving somehow.
I don't know how many people tend to overlook this - THIS FREAKING 150mbps is ONLY FOR DEVICE SUPPORTING 5GHZ. Yes it has 2.3 and 5ghz bands and connects automatically to which your device is supporting. Fun Fact - They don't tell this to you or shown on website unless you install it. I am also in first month free trial and except my laptop and some latest mobile phones in my office , none support 5ghz band. Other 2 desktops connect to 2.3 ghz band and it gives upto 35 mbps speed.

Bro, I got Airtel Xtream Fiber installed at my home last week. It costed me Rs. 2829/- only for 3 months and speed of 100 MBPS. No istallation charges. And no extra hidden charges. Speed is really good of Airtel Xtream Fiber.

Neither is good enough. Local internet providers have started giving Fiber on cheaper rates. UPDATE: Airtel doesn't provide ₹499 plan on long term recharge so you cannot get free installation on that plan. I'm not sure if it's actually the case or customer care people are lying to push you for higher plans.
I am using one smart TV and only airtel fibre stream plan without the set top box.. It's the best choice.. The service is flawless.. If you don't have a smart TV buy a fire stick of 1.5k instead taking set top box and use the wifi net to stream all contents online iTV on your non smart TV.

I've been using Airtel solely for its 4g internet and it's unmatched in most places I've been to compared to jio...jio is better in its coverage but hands down Airtel is more quality!
It depends on the area you reside in. Cellular networks vary greatly from one region to another. But fibres are physical cable based broadband network, so the experience is same across the country.
Jio now has the most spectrum in most regions, its coverage is too good. Total consumers served are on par with Airtel, they both share almost the same bands with the whole of pan India 2300Mhz band belonging to Jio. Jio owns a hell lot of 800Mhz bands too for better coverage. So the conclusion, if ur mobile supports carrier aggregation, JIO's the best.

I am using airtel from 3 years 3 months. I was paying around 1300 approx including gst every month. In 1300 i was getting unlimited data + voice + thanks benefits(worth 500 approx). Talking about main thing that is internet, Ping was 9 ms, download speed 40 mbps upload 9 mbps. This speed and ping is not worth 1300 , this I got to know when three of my friends recommended me Excitel. Now i'm using Excitel that is giving me Ping 2ms , Download 100 mbps and upload 120 mbps that's under 750 rupees approx. I opted for disconnection from airtel and currently, it's been 3 weeks of my disconnection request, airtel guys contact me almost daily to convince me for not leaving airtel.

I am using airtel xstream fiber and i am quiet satisfied...because of their better service and high upload speed as compared to jio fiber. Beleive me airtel is far better than jio in terms of services and stable speed... I have both airtel fiber and jio fiber.. and i am impressed by the airtel fiber...prices are a little bit high but airtel's service is quite trustworthy❤️
UPDATE - We CAN now change airtel's plan from quarter or half yearly to monthly basis from the airtel app itself

UPDATE: Airtel doesn't provide ₹499 plan on long term recharge so you cannot get free installation on that plan. I'm not sure if it's actually the case or customer care people are lying to push you for higher plans.

I am using one smart TV and only airtel fibre stream plan without the set top box.. It's the best choice.. The service is flawless.. If you don't have a smart TV buy a fire stick of 1.5k instead taking set top box and use the wifi net to stream all contents online iTV on your non smart TV.

I've been using Airtel solely for its 4g internet and it's unmatched in most places I've been to compared to jio...jio is better in its coverage but hands down Airtel is more quality!

It depends on the area you reside in. Cellular networks vary greatly from one region to another. But fibres are physical cable based broadband network, so the experience is same across the country.
Jio now has the most spectrum in most regions, its coverage is too good. Total consumers served are on par with Airtel, they both share almost the same bands with the whole of pan India 2300Mhz band belonging to Jio. Jio owns a hell lot of 800Mhz bands too for better coverage. So the conclusion, if ur mobile supports carrier aggregation, JIO's the best.

Speed wise its AIRTEL XTREAM but Service wise Go for JIO. i have 3 fibre connections trust me service of BSNL is better than Airtel.
May be those worst service will be by location biased. In our area, for me also same situation, but not airtel, Jio has worst service in our area
Very nicely explained. Availability is the main problem. Cap does not matter. 300mbps may be the best plan and 100mbps may be economic.
I am lucky that i selected Reliance Jio instead of Airtel.

I am using airtel from 3 years 3 months. I was paying around 1300 approx including gst every month. In 1300 i was getting unlimited data + voice + thanks benefits(worth 500 approx). Talking about main thing that is internet, Ping was 9 ms, download speed 40 mbps upload 9 mbps. This speed and ping is not worth 1300 , this I got to know when three of my friends recommended me Excitel. Now i'm using Excitel that is giving me Ping 2ms , Download 100 mbps and upload 120 mbps that's under 750 rupees approx. I opted for disconnection from airtel and currently, it's been 3 weeks of my disconnection request, airtel guys contact me almost daily to convince me for not leaving airtel.
You could have tried JIO also.

I am using airtel xstream fiber and i am quiet satisfied...because of their better service and high upload speed as compared to jio fiber. Beleive me airtel is far better than jio in terms of services and stable speed... I have both airtel fiber and jio fiber.. and i am impressed by the airtel fiber...prices are a little bit high but airtel's service is quite trustworthy❤️
