Day 115 on the AT- Slept behind the deli and pizza restaurant.

- Really hot day. We ended with a thunderstorm on the trail and again around midnight. Met up with Jim and Janice at the pizza restaurant. He helped us out with some resupply and treated us to dinner.

Morning, Carrie. Some of the trail today looked pretty rough with all the boulders, rocks, and roots, but then you had a smooth trail for a while. I would not have liked the thunderstorm, but I imagine the rain felt good. How nice of your friend Jim and his wife to treat you to all of the goodies and to come see you on trail. Those delis sure do come in handy, don't they? Ya'll are knocking out the miles. Take care. Stay safe. See you tomorrow.

What a nice photo of Gadget Girl, I have watched her, you, and several others since they started out. More Hikes Less Worries, Molly Rose, Hiking with Jenny, JessHikesTrails, Chuck Howell, Bluegrass on trail, Ashley Squared Adventures, Sparrow and Mika, Captain Jack who has finished NOBO and is now doing Sobo! Also have followed several who have since left the AT due to injury or fears, including an Ol' sorority sister of mine from college days. I like what Gadget Girl does with her pals, a smart way to do the entire trail without destroying one's health. She had amazing days with incredible wildlife. Also watching some PCT hikers as well. All, smartly, delay posts by numerous days except Captain Jack. I have noticed weight loss, in a healthy way for most of your older hikers. Some of the younger ones look to gain a few pounds as they indulge in copious amounts of junk and trail magic. lol All in all, I have enjoyed tuning in to see everyone's progress. I also tune in to Ramdino and his updates. Glad you are feeling better with vertigo a past issue. It'll be fun to see you all hiking high up in Maine!

I was wondering when you and Gadget Girl would cross paths. That lady can flat do some bushwhacking. I watched her vlogs on a thru hike trail located in West Virginia.
