Michael Alig and Ernie Glam are back together again in The Pee-ew to bring you their special brand of political incorrectness and social satire. Each hysterical, action-packed episode features everyone's favorite ex-club kids pointing their fingers and giggling deviously at the ills of society --giving American Consumer and Celebrity culture a heavy dose of its own medicine. Are they Anarchists, Libertarians, the Illuminati? Whatever you decide, remember there are three things you must do each and every day: Eat! Sleep! Watch The Pee-ew!

Who the hell do Michael Alig and Ernie Glam think they are? Michael Alig spearheaded a countercultural youth movement based on the concept of the Warholian "anti-Celebrity" and became King of the Club Kids before inspiring the film Party Monster, starring Macaulay Culkin. He is currently painting masterpieces of artwork; working on his autobiography, Aligula; designing a club kid-inspired clothing line called Skroddleface; directing a NYC art collective called Countdown and recording a new dance single. One of the original club kids, Ernie Glam is a journalist and irreverent talk show host by day, Underground clothing designer and stylist-to-the-stars by night; catch him - -if you can get past the red velvet ropes -- at the city's hottest nightclubs and parties.

Fantastic video! I was fortunate enough to visit 5 Ninth in Aug 2016 and February 2019 when I was in the States on vacation from the UK. The analog camera and Ernie’s memories just made this a wonderful watch!

Never a part of the scene however have looked at most all of Nelsons videos , and became fascinated seeing them. He came from a small home town like many with conservative Mother and Aunt Nancy. Touching videos of leaving Henshaw and saying good by , also visiting Aunt Nancy , He seemed to have a big heart. This was another opposite part of his life. Have seen videos in here too and of course his last video on the Third of July. No one knows about tomorrow. Interesting how far Ru Paul and others have come. Wonder what they that are gone would think just 3o years later. Many of their lives cut short probably because of lifestyle. Those whom lived through this time are lucky. Nelsons videos are a wonderful reminder of what seems like only yesterday Enjoyed seeing this ! Nelson unfortunately passed away just short of things going bigtime. !

Thank you so much Ernie for creating this film. I never met Nelson (as I am from & live in the UK) It is nearly bringing me to tears that Nelson left us at such a young age, but he will be looking down and so pleased his home has became a cool art gallery. Brilliant to see his answerphone. Stuart

Thanx SO much for sharing this! I've watched many of Nelson's vids-it's even weird for ME to see his home like it is now can't imagine what you must be feeling. I think he'd be so happy of it's current use.

Thank you SO much for this! I got choked up. I've seen several videos of people showing the outside of it but never inside so to see it and as a museum is so wonderful. God, I miss those days. Bittersweet. Amazing. So grateful.

The photos are magnificent and the self-portrait of Nelson is beyond stunning. Hoo! You guys got me tearing up! It's so beautiful to see, but it just makes it all this distant ghostly memory when it actually doesn't seem that long ago at all. I swear I stopped at 30 tops abd I do not at all feel like I'm around that 50 mark! I can't even wrap my head around it! It's honestly ghostly and beyond strange to see this, Nelson's home where he loved to have people gather. The sad tragic loss of his life at an unexpected young age. Wow. Nelson, I think you'd love this! But if you were still here, why do I feel like you'd still be here, maybe had done some renovations after you hit the big time. I truly believe Nelson was in his way and would've made some incredible acclaimed documentary films chronicling cultural history and he would've wanted to keep this home and keep it as a fathering place for the creatives. It's so amazing but breaks my heart all at the same time. You all had such an impact on me and I love Nelson. I'm not denying some of the darker shit of the time, but that doesn't take away from the beauty of the times, the people, the artistry, the clubs, the lifestyle. There was so much about it thst reflected, shaped and defined the times. I miss those times.
