I love that you said Step # 0 😂 great vid. I've had the Wyndham Earner Business for 5 years and never took advantage of the status match to Caesars...feel like a dummy
Yep! We were just in Vegas and my husband is active duty military, got the rewards card and he just got the email about the free 4 night stay at Atlantis
Just did this October 2022, our kids loved it. We also frequent Las Vegas, and Laughlin NV. I have the Wyndham Business Rewards card for Diamond Status. If you don't mind the 95 AF, and think you would qualify for the business card. The Diamond status with Wyndham and Caesars is worth it. Also I was just emailed by Atlantis directly and offered same free nights this year. Between now and December.
@kellymaurer4540 yes, the Caesars rate is based on 2 people. Kids will add taxes and fees to bill. It's based on status with Caesars. Some people it's 100% free for me our free room was still about 750.00 at checkout because of taxes and fees.
If you have no income outside of a job, then you won't be eligible. However, watch this other video for more guidance: th-cam.com/video/u9qE-mVShvo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Z_DAQOfS6UGKintx
I wonder if you can get reduced rates or pay upgrades for additional room or suite. Super informative no one else explained this of proved it was actually real better than you I’m only left with the one question not 10more .
Thanks for this amazing new video Mark! 👍🏼 It will be so nice if you can do a video one day of your TOP 10 most luxurious hotels in the world that we can book with points (and a especially the ones where we can get the best value)! 💰🤩
The Wyndham Business Earner is an OP card. I applied after you posted one of your earliest videos on it. I was able to get the 75k SUB plus 10k for AU. I used 50k+ points for a Vacasa stay in Panama City/Destin. Definitely, Bahamas will be on the bucket list. Thanks so much for this content. Most TH-camrs will focus on more mainstream cards like the Hyatt. This one is probably one of the most underrated cards in the US
I got the choice select card to stay in the choice hotel next door(10 min walk) to Atlantis that gives you free access to Atlantis. This will be first trip to the Bahamas next year. Going to have to get the Wyndham card & make this my second trip to Atlantis! Thanks for sharing!
That'd require another video! Here's a link to the benefits to compare: www.caesars.com/myrewards/benefits-overview Frankly, I haven't used the others yet as I rarely engage with the Caesars program. If you have questions about the details of specific benefits, I suggest calling Caesars to ask. Here are more details about the Dubai trip: www.caesars.com/myrewards/benefits-overview/free-caesars-palace-dubai-stay If I understand correctly, the Dubai trip cannot be done via status match as you have to earn 15,000 Tier Credits. Worth asking to confirm that.
From how I understand the terms... - Guests ages 12 & up will be charged a $5 gratuity per day in standard rooms at the Coral. - Guests ages 12 & up will be charged $50 per night. So for 2 kids under 12, it sounds like there wouldn't be an additional charge. However, I suggest calling to confirm.
Thanks Mark. This is being put on my travel to do list for sure! Thanks for the helpful info. Glad to have gone through the efforts to get the Wyndham Business Card a year ago. Its definitely been a keeper card.
You're welcome! Most hacks like this involve status matches if / when they become available. You can also use the same Wyndham Earner Business Card to get access to cruises. See this article: frequentmiler.com/how-to-get-53-free-nights-of-vacation-from-a-single-credit-card/ Beyond this, I suggest searching other blogs / forums.
Curious why you had to pay resort fee since the regular diamond status states “No resort fees on any hotel stay.” Unless they qualify this as a resort, not hotel stay, even though the wording would seem to betray that.
This is awesome! One tip: if you can also add how the location was with maybe some clips of your vacation ala travel vlogger, that would bring this to 101% the best kind of video across all credit card YTers! 😅 Thanks Mark!
@@MarkReese Sort of. But more like a little review of the property itself - what’s there to do, the included amenities, tips/tricks to maximize the value of your actual spending (on food, drinks, experiences), etc. I know there are videos in YT from travel vloggers covering a review of properties like this but I’d rather not click away. 😉
Genuinely curious why this isn't talked about more often? Isn't this the same card that can get you free/heavily discounted cruises through status matches also? What are the downsides that keep this from being more prominent in the points/miles community?
Likely due to the fact that (a) It's a business credit card, (b) Barclays can be more difficult about approvals than other issuers, and (c) The status matching opportunities for things like this trip & the cruises you mentioned aren't well known or marketed.
So let me get this straight because it seems too good to be true. You get wyndham credit card for plat or diamond, then match for caesars which allows you to book (one complimentary stay) up to 5 free nights at the Atlantis on certain months for free? Then you can do this every single year?
You took your brother and not me?!?!? Ouch, that cuts deep. haha. I thought they closed that match status loop hole a while back. So you do need a wyndham card from chase to make it work though don't you? No other option?
1. The status match loop that was closed involved MGM. 2. Chase does not offer any Wyndham cards. 3. Expand the pinned post to read about other methods.
Thanks for your super informative video. Question - another TH-camr mentioned a requirement to gamble for a certain # of hours per day, did you encounter this on your trip?
Nope! Here's why... My confirmation email DID said the following... _"If you are receiving room reservations at a special casino rate, you must generate four (4) hours of rated play over the duration of your stay. I matched my Diamond Hilton status to Wyndham Diamond, now they tell me I need to stay 10 nights at Wyndham within 90 days. My question is: can I stay at Caesars instead? Would it count as Wyndham stay? Thanks
Not that I'm aware of. Wyndham stays need to be done for Wyndham status. That said, be aware that status matching from Hilton > Wyndham Rewards (WR) > Caesars Rewards (CR) probably won't work. Per the Caesars terms: "You must have earned Tier Status with your current loyalty program in order for your status to be matched. Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa."
Very helpful and interesting video. Might actually consider going... I never have before. Would have been super helpful to show a bit of the room and resort
Another great one ! I had to add this video to my phone notes so I can watch it again when ever I will need it. I have a question regarding the Wyndham business card , does Barclays report business cards to the credit bureaus on your personal credit profil ?
you are seriously the best, super organized, love the visuals. does the hotel offer you any upgrades if you are caesars diamond?? or can you do a paid upgrade to a suite?
Thank you Mark for this video! I got the Wyndham Business Earners card in May and didn’t know this was even an option! I really appreciate you ! I hope you had an amazing time!
I got my Wyndham credit card, and then immediately went to match to Caesars. However, my Wyndam card still says I'm only a Blue Member. I guess it takes some time to go through. I hope Caesars doesn't look at the status now and not give me the Platinum match... If that happens I guess I could just call like you said in the video right? Awesome video by the way!!!

It says it is going to take 2-8 weeks to recieve my platinum membership for Wyndham. So I just have to wait until that goes through and then follow back up with the status match, and possibly call like you said@@MarkReese
Is this still a thing? How come no one else is talking about this? Lol. I just got this card. My status hasn’t kicked in yet but as soon as it does I’m going to check.

I’ve been thinking about doing this trip for a few years but have been hesitant bc I heard you have to gamble a certain amount or they can charge you the full price for the room. Did they say anything about that?
I remember reading information in 2021 and 2022 about we must have 4 hours of recorded play during our stay at the Atlantis, if 4 hours of gambling is not recorded "the special casino rate will be changed to the Casino promotional rate." I can still find it in old posts from others but I do not see anything on their website today. I wonder if the rules have changed....... edit:I hear they mention it in the terms and conditions after booking but I HEAR (only hear) they don't enforce it.
@@ericvince2850 I hope they changed it. Although the Facebook comment I saw about the guy who was told he needed to gamble since he hasn’t gambled on his previous 2 trips was fairly recent.
So basically just need platinum status at Caesars to get that 4 comp. Offer at that resort. .. I also do go to Vegas a lot lol could I just get the credit card Caesars to get platinum status in Las Vegas
I should have specified. MY flight costs from ONT are $1k/pp, even from LAX. And the points costs are 100k/pp@@MarkReese edit: actually I did some digging. British airways has one way 22k points + $6. So with the transfer bonus looking at 70k BA avios for RT 2 person ex2: Found a direct flight with alaska on award ticket for 13k one way pp and it's a direct flight. Business availability for 38k one way pp. Hmm, tempting.
Typically when you earn Diamond status with Caesars Rewards your card is good for 12 months and the following year you have to earn at least another 15,000 tier credits to maintain your Diamond status. My question is when you get a Diamond card for opening a charge account how long does your Diamond card stay in effect? Is it just one year? If you mentioned it I missed it.Great information.
Regardless of how you earn any status level, it’s good for the rest of the calendar year that you earned it, all of the following year, and the January of the next year.
The question is… How long after opening the credit card does one achieve the Diamond status? I was approved for the business Wyndham credit card (it’s on its way) but my status on the Wyndham website still says I’m a Blue Member?
See 12:33 in the video. Only 1 room is allowed, but you can pay for more guests. To get around that, 2 people could get their own Caesars Diamond Status and book 2 separate itineraries.
At the moment, yes, that match is available. However, it will not work to make this trip happen. Per the terms for matching from Wyndham Rewards (WR) to Caesars: _"Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa."_
Nope. Per the terms, "Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa."
So you get this automatically for opening the card and matching status? No minimum spend required, or use of points? Just the out of pocket costs you mentioned (Resort Fees, Gratuity, etc)
Great info. 2 questions that I thought of as well: 1-can you book 2 nights in 2 rooms instead of 4 nights in 1 room? (If you’re traveling with a larger family, for example?) 2-can you pay an “upgrade fee” to stay in a different area of the property? Or can only stay in the Coral? Thanks again for great videos!
Thanks for all the details Mark, this is a very helpful video. The website when booking Coral shows theres a 75$ daily food and beverage credit and 75$ marine adventure credit? Did you guys also get that?
No I didn't receive that offer. Perhaps it's a limited-time promotion. Not sure if it's available when booking the trip in this way, though. Worth asking!
I'm not aware of any shortcuts. Just regular qualifying activities. Sometimes there may be status match opportunities, but when you get status via a match, you're "not automatically eligible for Tier Celebration dining credit, air travel credit and complimentary cruise benefits." Not sure. There was not a place to include my Marriott # during the booking process. Didn't try adding it at the front desk though. Another test that needs to be performed!

I don't have a way to quantify that. My experience was very difficult. Others have had a much easier time. In general though, Barclays tends to be more on the difficult side.
Hey Mark, thanks for the great info! How much did they hold for the incidentals on your card for the 5 nights, and how long did it take for them to release the funds back to you?
Hi Mark. Does this only work with the business Wyndham card or can i also do this with the personal card? Thank you Sir. BTW, your videos are fantastic. I love the amoubt of detail you cover. Not onky the big topics but you also go over the little things as well. Great job!
It would work with either personal or the business version for the match however it will be on different status match levels and the Business version is the only one that status matches you to Diamond which is. the higher level from what I can tell.
Can you still match MGM to Caesar's for this too? I don't have a Wyndham card yet but still have MGM Gold due to matching from Hyatt earlier this year. I see a page on Caesar's site that sounds like they might still do the match but it only mentions matching before 12/31/23 to get status through 1/31/24. Does this work and if so, will it still work to get Caesar's Diamond status after January 31st?
I'd call the reconsideration line & see if there's a way to have the decision overturned. Here's the # and more info: milestomemories.com/barclaycard-reconsideration-line/
Unfortunately no. The terms say, "This offer is available only to applicants who are residents of the United States, with the exception of Puerto Rico and the US territories..."
Hey Mark, do you know if the Wyndham Business card appears on personal credit reports? interested in the status matching in general for a vegas trip but this would make it even more worth it
I have had the credit card for over a year and to answer your question, no it absolutely does not report to your personal credit side. This is a Barclay credit card and Barclay keeps business and personal completely separate which is the way that it should be. I hope this helps you.
what if you wanted to get the free stay but you have 2 adults and 2 children under 12 lets say 3 and 1 years old? main question is the kids per room it says 4 adults and 1 child could it be 2 adults and 2 children?
1. See 12:32 in the video. 2a. Only 1 room is bookable via this method. 2b. Perhaps a workaround is for 2 adults to each get an eligible Wyndham credit card, do separate matches, and book 2 separate itineraries.

Fantastic! The card has big value in Vegas for sure 💯
I am still confused on kids, we have 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 3 and 8) do we pay extra for kids?
@kellymaurer4540 yes, the Caesars rate is based on 2 people. Kids will add taxes and fees to bill. It's based on status with Caesars. Some people it's 100% free for me our free room was still about 750.00 at checkout because of taxes and fees.
great video, thanks for sharing. if i don't have a business, how do i apply to one of that wyndam business card?
If you have no income outside of a job, then you won't be eligible. However, watch this other video for more guidance: th-cam.com/video/u9qE-mVShvo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Z_DAQOfS6UGKintx
I wonder if you can get reduced rates or pay upgrades for additional room or suite. Super informative no one else explained this of proved it was actually real better than you I’m only left with the one question not 10more .
Give the agents a call and ask! They're very helpful 👍
Thanks for this amazing new video Mark! 👍🏼
It will be so nice if you can do a video one day of your TOP 10 most luxurious hotels in the world that we can book with points (and a especially the ones where we can get the best value)! 💰🤩
Thanks for the suggestion!
One way to do this is just take a military ID to a Caesar rewards desk you get Platinum status for free without any credit cards or anything.
Best kept secret military and veteran benefit.

Thanks for the Pro tip…And thank you for your Service
Cool much easier to join the military than fill out a web form.

This one is probably one of the most underrated cards in the US
Great that you experienced a Vacasa stay via Wyndham points!
I got the choice select card to stay in the choice hotel next door(10 min walk) to Atlantis that gives you free access to Atlantis. This will be first trip to the Bahamas next year. Going to have to get the Wyndham card & make this my second trip to Atlantis! Thanks for sharing!
Well done! Enjoy the trip! 🌴
Hi Mark, can you give more details on the other benefit of caesars diamond status like complimentary Dubai 2 free nights ?
That'd require another video! Here's a link to the benefits to compare: www.caesars.com/myrewards/benefits-overview
Frankly, I haven't used the others yet as I rarely engage with the Caesars program.
If you have questions about the details of specific benefits, I suggest calling Caesars to ask.
Here are more details about the Dubai trip:
www.caesars.com/myrewards/benefits-overview/free-caesars-palace-dubai-stay
If I understand correctly, the Dubai trip cannot be done via status match as you have to earn 15,000 Tier Credits. Worth asking to confirm that.
How early before you plan to take this trip would you recommend applying for the credit card to get the status?
In case of any delays, I'd say 2-3 months. However, you should be able to get Diamond Status reflected on your Wyndham account in under 1 month.
they are slow with everything , to get approved...just applied for business card, i saw your video so i know this will take about 1 month
Frustrating, but good luck with the final outcome!
Just trying to understand, if we had 2 adults and 2 kids (3 and 8 years old)...would we pay extra for the kids?
From how I understand the terms...
- Guests ages 12 & up will be charged a $5 gratuity per day in standard rooms at the Coral.
- Guests ages 12 & up will be charged $50 per night.
So for 2 kids under 12, it sounds like there wouldn't be an additional charge. However, I suggest calling to confirm.
Thanks Mark. This is being put on my travel to do list for sure! Thanks for the helpful info. Glad to have gone through the efforts to get the Wyndham Business Card a year ago. Its definitely been a keeper card.
Right on, you're next! 🌴
Thanks for this very informative video! Are there any other similar credit card/travel hacks that get free vacations to other places around the world?
You're welcome! Most hacks like this involve status matches if / when they become available.
You can also use the same Wyndham Earner Business Card to get access to cruises. See this article: frequentmiler.com/how-to-get-53-free-nights-of-vacation-from-a-single-credit-card/
Beyond this, I suggest searching other blogs / forums.
If my Caesars Diamond status expires in January of 2024 do you know if I can call in within the next month and book a trip for September of 2024?
If the status expires before the trip, then the benefits won't be recognized on the trip.
You'll have to qualify, or match, again.
Thank you for the advice, very helpful
You're welcome!
Curious why you had to pay resort fee since the regular diamond status states “No resort fees on any hotel stay.” Unless they qualify this as a resort, not hotel stay, even though the wording would seem to betray that.
Probably because the Atlantis Bahamas is not operated by Caesars Rewards and operates its own Terms and Conditions.
Thanks Mark! Great video as usual! You’re the best!!!
You bet, thank YOU!
This is awesome! One tip: if you can also add how the location was with maybe some clips of your vacation ala travel vlogger, that would bring this to 101% the best kind of video across all credit card YTers! 😅 Thanks Mark!
You mean like what I included at 19:44?
@@MarkReese Sort of. But more like a little review of the property itself - what’s there to do, the included amenities, tips/tricks to maximize the value of your actual spending (on food, drinks, experiences), etc. I know there are videos in YT from travel vloggers covering a review of properties like this but I’d rather not click away. 😉
@@IonicTechYTI feel this videos purpose was explained in the title …. Most ppl know Atlantis 😊
Great video nice walk through style! My question how do they track casino play times ?
Thanks! No idea how they track it. Casino play time wasn't required for my stay. Expand the pinned comment to read more.
So let me get this straight because it seems too good to be true. You get wyndham credit card for plat or diamond, then match for caesars which allows you to book (one complimentary stay) up to 5 free nights at the Atlantis on certain months for free? Then you can do this every single year?
Correct.
This was so thorough and I really like the footage of Atlantis. Thanks for this
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for the good information!!!
You're welcome!
How long does the status match stay? Does it refresh every year meaning we have to match every year or is it life time
You'll need to rematch every program year.
Thanks for the walkthrough Mark! What a great way to get even more value from that status match. Looks like you had a great vacation!!
Big value indeed! Fantastic trip 🌴
If four (4) hours of play is not generated, the special casino rate will be changed to the casino promotional rate. The nightly promotional rates are: The Coral $200, The Royal $300 and The Cove/The Reef $450. Additional room taxes and fees apply."_
However, 'casino rates' are different than 'complimentary rates.'
In the video, some of the package options allow you to book additional nights (beyond the complimentary nights) at a special casino rate (see 6:52 for an example). If you choose to add on those extra nights, then it seems that the 4-hours of casino play are required, per the terms. I'm not sure how strictly they enforce that, however.
For my 'complimentary rate / stay,' I did not do any casino play time and was not charged anything at check out.

Another great one ! I had to add this video to my phone notes so I can watch it again when ever I will need it. I have a question regarding the Wyndham business card , does Barclays report business cards to the credit bureaus on your personal credit profil ?
Yes, we need this answered. 👍
No. I've had 2 Barclays business cards over the years and neither was reported to my personal credit report.

Here's my data point for 2024t: Status match from WR Diamond to CR Diamond was successful! Originally submitted on 2.01.2024, followed up by sending an in-app / web email to CR on 2.15.2024, and noticed the CR Diamond Status today 2.21.2024. The original WR Diamond was obtained via the Wyndham Rewards Earner Business credit card.
As far as I'm aware it should still work!
Hi Mark! Great video! I heard there was a gambling requirement for this offer. If this was your experience did you have a daily requirement?
My confirmation email DID said the following...

I’ve been thinking about doing this trip for a few years but have been hesitant bc I heard you have to gamble a certain amount or they can charge you the full price for the room. Did they say anything about that?
I've never heard that & I surely didn't experience that after spending exactly $0 on gambling while there.

Great video! Did you do any excursions while you were there?
Thanks! No I just stayed onsite.
Status still expires. You'll have to rematch each year.
Regardless of how you earn any status level, it’s good for the rest of the calendar year that you earned it, all of the following year, and the January of the next year.
Hey Mark great video. Is there anyway to get into the Royal Towers or the Cove with these cards?
Not that I'm aware of.
The question is… How long after opening the credit card does one achieve the Diamond status? I was approved for the business Wyndham credit card (it’s on its way) but my status on the Wyndham website still says I’m a Blue Member?
I don't recall, but likely within a few days.
Can I take 2 more adults with me with addition charge or they have to have their own diamond status?
See 12:33 in the video.
Only 1 room is allowed, but you can pay for more guests. To get around that, 2 people could get their own Caesars Diamond Status and book 2 separate itineraries.

You can also transfer your diamond status from
Hilton to Wyndham.
At the moment, yes, that match is available. However, it will not work to make this trip happen.
Per the terms for matching from Wyndham Rewards (WR) to Caesars:
_"Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa."_
@@MarkReese got it. Thanks for the helpful reply!
But did anyone tried it? Sometimes they don’t check.
Is the wyndham rewards earned plus card a business card? Or personal?
The Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus Card is a personal card.

Nope. Per the terms, "Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa."

I'm only aware of a standard / basic room. You could call them to inquire further if upgraded rooms can be purchased.

Great info. 2 questions that I thought of as well:
1-can you book 2 nights in 2 rooms instead of 4 nights in 1 room? (If you’re traveling with a larger family, for example?)
2-can you pay an “upgrade fee” to stay in a different area of the property? Or can only stay in the Coral?
Thanks again for great videos!
Not sure, though I doubt it for both. However, call the # shown in the video to ask! The agents are super helpful.

No I didn't receive that offer. Perhaps it's a limited-time promotion. Not sure if it's available when booking the trip in this way, though. Worth asking!
Is this still able to be accomplished? Thinking about getting wyndham business earner card shortly.

Wonder how this would work for a party of 5, 2 rooms? Probably not free?
1. See 12:32 in the video.
2a. Only 1 room is bookable via this method.
2b. Perhaps a workaround is for 2 adults to each get an eligible Wyndham credit card, do separate matches, and book 2 separate itineraries.
@@MarkReese yeah, I think you said suites are not available with this method?
Bring em on!
Hope you enjoyed the trip with your brother. Looked relaxing.
@@theeverydailyshow - Correct, no suites.
Did this only just start last year?
No, it's been ongoing for some time.
Do you still have to do the 4 hours of casino play?
No.
@@mschlagel67 - Congrats! Yes, my email said the following...
_"If you are receiving room reservations at a special casino rate, you must generate four (4) hours of rated play over the duration of your stay.
In the video, some of the package options allow you to book additional nights (beyond the complimentary nights) at a special casino rate. If you choose to add on those extra nights, then it seems that the 4-hours of casino play are required per the terms. I'm not sure how strictly they enforce that, however.
For my 'complimentary rate / stay,' I did not do any casino play time and was not charged anything at check out.
For further clarification, I now see what you mean. My email confirmation said the following...

TY for the great content Mark. Definitely will get the card from your link. Qtn. Doesn't status match only work for so many months then we have to stay or spend at Caesar in order to keep the status?
You're welcome! I don't have a link for the Wyndham cards. Status will expire each reward year, but you can re-match 👍

Wyndham doesn't offer a referral bonus?
@@treasurehunter1713 - Only for the personal versions.
