- After three months away, I am finally back - on this Christmas Eve - with a virtual tour for you all :) I hope you enjoy this little gift, and learning about one of the most picturesque medieval towns of Portugal: Óbidos.
Located in the Central Region of Portugal, near the city of Caldas da Rainha and close enough to Lisbon, Óbidos is - nowadays - one of the most visited medieval sites of Portugal. This city exists for a very long time but it was in the 13th century with King Dinis that it grew and acquired relevance in the History of this country. It is extremely well preserved and there are many things to do, taste and see there (as well as its surroundings) and in this video I am giving you some tips on that!
Óbidos also has lots of places to overnight - including a Castle transformed in a 5* hotel: a Pousada de Portugal - and a nice calendar of events throughout the year. You can learn about its events by consulting the link mentioned in the video (obidos.pt/).
