Awesome!! I love the final screen: "Opening doors to other worlds". These worlds are better than reality, I learn much more in them and I become one better person because my vision and understanding of my world and myself is improved and it expands. Sincerely, i don't know how would be my life without videogames, perhaps the person that I am and of that I feel proud would not exist. Great job, greetings from Colombia!!
It is so unbelievably astounding how the consoles & graphics over the last 3 decades have improved substantially. I do hope for a brighter future in video games. The developers of PS4 & Xbox1 I hope they are inspired through the origional coin op machines & 8 bit graphics the industry started from. Its always about the gameplay, simple addictive fun
Settle down guys, this was a 'video' piece and not a history lesson. The idea was to show evolution of video games to the point that it transitions into the future with 'glasses'. Quite well done and I love the method used.

congratulations mates, i see the point, aside being the n64 shows before the playstation and the dreamcast after the ps2, that doesn´t matter, the purpose is what matters. sure there are many people here that says, it misses this console or that one, once again for me personaly i think its a great job by you guys. keep the amazing job for our and everyone entertainment. sorry for bad inglish, im from portugal and my writing is old!!!
every time they switched to other games, I felt irritated as if someone really distracted me while I was playing. I was deeply engaged in the game. It is funny how that can happen in couple seconds.
Hey guys, stop critisising... If this video would have included every console until today it would be 30min long... So don't tell me the've forgotten the gameboy color or Zelda 64, that's not the point. This is really a nice video.
@Ewuhy Haha, fair enough but I think he should have showed him playing Halo 2 for Xbox - cos that was the genesis for all online first person shooters on consoles. Wasn't the first obviously, but it was the first on consoles to establish it effectively and show the potential online FPS games have. Still is, arguably, one of the best console multiplayer shooters today. Big moment that.
In order of appearance: 1 - Tennis for Two (1958) the first videogame ever! 2 - PacMan on arcade simulator (end 70's) 3 - Donkey Kong on NES (early 80's) 4 - Sonic The Hedgehog on Sega MegaDrive/Genesis (early 90's) 5 - Street Fighter on SNES (mid 90's) 6 - Super Mario 64 on Nintendo 64 (mid-end 90's) 7 - Final Fantasy VII on PS1 (1997) 8 - Need for Speed Hot Pursuit on PS2 (early 2000's) 9 - Ecco The Dolphin on Dreamcast (early 2000's) 10 - Super Smash Bros. on Gamecube (mid 2000's) 11 - Wii Sports on Wii (mid-end 2000's) 12 - God of War 3 on PS3 (end 2000's) 13 - Rock Band on Xbox 360 (end 2000's)
Tennis for Two is usually debated when it comes to its legacy. For one a video game and a computer game are different things (video games are usually associated with consoles) while Tennis for Two is a computer game. Also it attracted little attention, and wasn't a major influencer of later games. Unlike the Computer Game Space War. Which influences Nolan Bushnell to found Atari. The first video game in the purest sense is the Brown Box or the Magnavox Odyssey.
atari , sega master system, Nes, Genesis, Snes, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, Dreamcast, I think N64, PlayStation 2, Xbox, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One , PlayStation 4..I was born in 1980 that's what I had growing up..there's game systems inbetween but that's what was at the stores readily available in order of release dates..
This video needs a remake..
agreed from the future

I keep coming back to this video to enjoy it again and again throughout the years
A truly innovative way of presentation, in a day where everybody who talks about video games history does so in the same fashion.
