My maps are bugged, they are all in blue textures, It has something to do with csp general settings... When I turn it on it goes normal but way too bright. Please help
are you using link cable or wireless conectivity? ive been using virtual desktop and usually im at 60fps but recently it dropped down to 45-50 even though im on a 5800x3d and 7900xtx... XD
Nice one! I actually prefer to put the quality settings to low, LOD bias to 0.75 (to bring out some details) and max out the pixels per display. AA and AF wont compare to higher rez. you can then tweak the sharpness settings in CSP without aliasing. Its unfortunate that AS doesn't like DSR it seems.

well you can't close or not have a window open while playing in vr. But you can (in this case lower the resolution of the window at the top to have a smaller window) or if youre playing any other vr games you just simply make the game window on your monitor smaller, sometimes if it starts in fullscreen you have to press alt+enter and that puts the game into windowed mode and then just grab the side of the window and shrink it down as much as possible. This does not ruin the image resolution inside your vr headset only on your monitor and sometimes this can give you a bit more fps.

You may possibly get a boost from these settings but it’s an overcompensation of other settings that are being turned off for no reason. I can’t wait to drop make a separate account with a video series on this. But real shit… simply put…when you play a regular game on a monitor, you’re typically set to a resolution you like, and then you match the game to it. In some cases you might set the in game resolution higher than your monitor so you can supersample. The same concept applies for VR. It’s just another display that your game is rendering the frames to send over to. So in so many of these tutorials you see people setting the headset super high but the in game resolution low… so you mean to tell me upscaling 1080p to damn near 4-5k is better? That’s inefficient, a waste of your systems resources. I just did an experiment with my i5 13600k/3070 and 32gb of ram. I set my encoding res width to match the headset so it is 1:1. My game was set to 1440p. I have various settings enabled in csp that I can share later. But I pulled 116-119.7fps the whole time on Akina in touge life 1 server. I hopped out then decided let’s supersample 4k at the same headset res… with all settings constant and 4k, I got a very smooth 110-119… with the added visual clarity I needed. It is now understanding how this all works that allows me to see videos like this and say “upscaling is not the answer for us” you upscale an old video game console… not on a gaming rig for a modern game. Not trying to knock anyone but research is crucial to understanding why this video is a suboptimal way to set up your vr for this game.
How do you get so many graphic settings in Assetto Corsa? I have much less options and the game does not look good on my Quest 2. 😞 Do you use some mod for these settings, or specific version of the game? I got it on Steam.

You don't use fsr and all the other extra vr options under Graphical enhancements? That gives you a ton of headroom so you can bump up the resolution, increase gfx details and what not. Yes it will run smooth with your settings but depending on your system you should be able to activate many more of all the gfx options while maintaining a maximum fps. A nice thing about fsr is that you can easily switch the quality setting. For full AI races in the rain I select a lower fsr mode to maintain max fps.
I get your point however I prefer a sharp image especially on the quest 2. I can't stand pixally jagged edges and i use x8 anti aliasing and 1.2 super sampling to clean up the edges. Thanks anyway.

I think you're looking at a 15 to 25 fps drop compared to the 6800xt. Advise that you reduce anti aliasing settings in content manager.

I think you're looking at a 25+ fps drop compared to the 6800xt. Advise that you reduce anti aliasing settings in content manager.

Probably not but to help, i would not add the super sampling if you are going to try it - or use automatic resolution in oculus application

open VR is for steamVR or generaly for any other headset that is not oculus.

You will have to reduce the msaa anti aliasing to get a decent framerate.
