I was honored to view this incredible short film before. It is beautiful and heartbreaking. The music was lovely and melancholy! Why are we inpatient with the people we are supposed to love? Where is our grace, forgiveness and acceptance of our love ones differences. I did feel joy that the brother was able to return home and die with his family. The family and friends can only distinguish the brothers apart by the clothing they wear. Celebrate and be present with the people you love. Try not to use precious time being judgmental of their surface differences! We only have this moment!
Et cela m'interpelle parce que je pense que Mordecai devait être le "petit" frère et souvent les plus jeunes frères et sœurs sont plus instinctifs, sont plus sensibles dans le sens " plus a fleur de peau" ( et le paient cher!), plus intuitifs que l'aîné d'une fratrie. Car sur l'aîné, souvent, pèsent beaucoup d'espoirs des parents et ils ne s'autorisent pas toujours à vivre "leur " vie. Par loyauté familiale déjà...
J'ai beaucoup aimé ! C'est tout en finesse. Oui ! Il faut vivre selon ses propres besoins et envies et envoyer tout balader quand c'est trop conventionnel !!!
I live in a town with many Orthodox Jews. They must all dress in the same exact way. No exceptions. Strange beyond belief. All dark clothing with a wide brimmed hat. Does this prove something? I don't think so.
