Brian…. I am in perfect health fortunately and started riding recumbent two wheelers in 2010 and test rode a trike in 2017 . Never turned back. I’m 72 and ride 1000 miles per month on my Catrike 559 and 700 with none of the usual cyclists complaints.no back, shoulders, wrist, or crotch issues. They are incredible and the only way to go. They are life changers for serious hikers young and old, healthy and impaired.
I have had three back surgeries and my balance is not what it used to be and recumbent trikes are fun after having one I wished I would have had one sooner. I have had 3, 2 recumbent bikes in the past. After 1 of my back surgeries I ride over 100 miles on a bike trip with a back brace. Was considering another 2 wheel recumbent but decided to go this way with my balance issues. So glad I did. You can relax and just coast when you want too .
I have a Catrike Dumont that I during the winter put on a set of rollers and pedal for a hour. I use sites like yours to break up the boredom. I'm 73 with health issues from MAC Disease that I fought and won about 8 years ago, I had to have a Whiffel Surgery that found out I have Pancreatic Cancer than they found a spot on my left lung, they are going to take a Biopsy of it. Hope to find a riding partner for health reasons and ride my Trike. I love my Catrike Dumont.

I agree Mark and we love our trikes. The trikes are very comfortable. You can sightsee more and just relax and enjoy the ride.
Neither of you seems physically impaired so I have to ask, why did you choose trikes over bikes with all their obvious limitations?

LOL..
One doesn't need to be physically impaired to ride a recumbent trike 😂.
Limitations?
@TrikeHobo
Bravo! 👏... Well said Steve.
I think that about covers the whole gamut of cycling 😅.

I hope you can keep up with riding. It stinks when your body won't cooperate. Glad you are enjoying the videos. Hope your biopsy goes well.
