I'm from Jharkhand.. One bitter truth I must convey to the main stream that people from rural areas especially SCs, STs n backward class people had sympathy towards naxalites. Earlier police administration were very oppressive towards poors n people from upper castes had sidelined them in villages that forced them to pick weapons n join mcc. Even today u can find separate villages for dalit in Bihar. This shame will always behold with Bihar. U can remember ranbir Sena n MCC (sc st obc people) clashes in Bihar.

But it's also a fact that so called upper class people, whom these dalits converted to Naxals attack, don't have land holding more then 2 acers of land. So they have all the equal rights to fight back.
