You mentioned transferring the monsters into on land encounters - you could change the death embrace creature as a plant creature with vines taking the place of tentacles and then with similar effects.
Great stuff! I’m about to order this book. These seem easily adjustable to different terrains and you can also mod things onto them. That death embrace is brutal and really fits the feeling of a dangerous jellyfish (and similar) some real world ones have deadly tendrils that reach 60ft!

The whole of the Netherdeep is underwater, making the Death Embrace much more of a terrifying and dangerous encounter. Yes, Horizonback Tortoises like Gloomstalkers are in EGtW and many other monsters are aberrant versions of previously existing monsters, but that's ok. we're buying this for the adventure right?
Chrisma saving throw for bite? That's lunacy and makes no sense from a hammer head shark. And that 60ft reach from that jelly fish will kill off folks who is 6th level and level..what level do folks encounter these monsters?

The Corrupted Aboleth should have had an alternative madness/confusion aura IMHO because it’s own corruption should project psychically around it.

The only thing the designer of this monster missed was the mouth should have had many dots.
