2nd Tutorial recently where it simply won't work with my logo. I am thinking it may be down to the many "scan lines" I have in the text and image. Because where you logos look nice, mine looks blobby and distorted. I managed to get a decent effect by dropping the main in to another comp and using layer styles to emboss. Not quite the same effect, but it looked amazing in the end.
Hmm, I'm sure there's a simple fix to this but I can't tell what the issue might be without looking at it. Did you select the logo comp in displacement map source?
@@SmertimbaGraphics Yes, I followed and followed but just couldn't get it to work. But I can't sleep so going to try with a clients logo and see if I can get that to look like yours.

You can do it the same way, if you want to see original colors from the start don't add linear wipe and move the logo to the start of the timeline
