Everytime I see someone react to the Penacony MC trailer with Black Swan I'm amazed nobody makes the obvious anime connection between its visuals and the movie Paprika.
@GHOULSXO You really can't go wrong with Kon's work. You can see what I meant by just watching the opening/intro scene/song of the movie if time is limited.
41:48 yeah, lore wise its not even close she is the representor (Emanator) of a god, specifically that black hole she swung at at the end of her myriad celestia, which is the god of nothingness called "IX" As the emanator of IX, she is able to draw from its power, which essentially allows her to channel the infinite power of nothingness through her blade, hence why the blade she wields at the end is called "Naught" which is a variation of the word "nothingness" And as one of you mentioned, Naught is made up of all twelve of the named blades from the start (plus End and Finality) which were made up of the 70,047 blades, so Naught is quite literally one of if not the single strongest weapon that can be wielded by a mortal in existence in Star Rails universe (the reason "blades" are so prevalent around Acheron is because in the planet where Acheron is from, blades are what represented someone's power; the blade itself is what harbours the power, but only those chosen by the aeon that represents the specific blade are able to wield it) (((and i know this is getting long, but for what you said afterwards, she doesnt have a motivation, for the god of nothingness to have caught your attention and give you its power, you need to quite literally represent nothingness; she lost everything when her planet was destroyed as shown in the trailer, so she is basically the walking embodiment of the word "despair")))
The blades have nothing to do with aeons, they're actually a reference to Honkai Impact third. That's even more true when we see that the one holding the Thunder Blade is Acheron and then when all 12 swords are broken, she wields the Origin sword (in the Honkai Impact 3rd, Raiden Mei (which Acheron is an different version of) was the Herrscher of Thunder and later on becomes the Herrscher of Origin)
@@tymo829yeah I’m aware that the blades are quite literally the herrschers, but in hsr’s universe herrschers weren’t a thing, instead those blades took their place, hence why “End” and “origin” in the myriad celestia (Herrshcer of finality and origin) are blades and not the actual herrschers since they don’t exist also to note, she isn’t weirding Origin at the end, as Origin and Finality were destroyed as shown in the myriad celestia, she is wielding Naught, a herrshcer that doesn’t exist in hi3 The Acheron in game is wielding Naught And “Naught” is another word for “Nothing” which is another word for “Nihility” (yes I know nihility isn’t a word but it’s another word for nihilism) so it’s reasonable to assume IX, Aeon of Nihlity, gave her that sword
@@alfdog83 No sir, she's literally wielding Origin, then Origin breaks and when the black hole starts engulfing Izumo she rebuilds it with her emanator's power into Naught. I didn't say that she's currently wielding Origin, just that she wielded it at that moment.
42:09 so essentially every "blade" being forged isnt an actual sword- its a life. Izumo sacrificed X many defenders (which is why the number went up when everyone died) to save Izumo... only for it to be for nothing because the Aeon of Nihility (IX) or one of its many shadows swallowed up her world anyways. The point is that its a retelling of the story of Raiden Mei from Honkai Impact with the exception of them losing at the end instead of winning- and with IX destroying everything immediately following to make it all worth nothing. Rewatching her trailer with this knowledge makes her lines heartbreaking instead of menacing.
No, the swords existed. Izumo and Takamagahara are two planets that exist in a solar system that has a black hole next to it. Izumo created those blades to fight the Kami, which are monsters/gods from Takamagahara. When people use the power of these swords too much they become Oni (like we see with Acheron and her horns) and start to lose themselves. After shit went down and the 12 swords broken, the Takamagahara created the End sword and Izumo the Origin sword (that was wielded by Acheron). When she succesfully defeated the Kami and the wielder of the End Sword, the whole two planets started to be absorbed by the Black Hole. In this disaster, Acheron became an Emanator and destroyed the Black Hole (which was a representation of IX).
Incase you didn't know annihilation gang isn't strong at all, they are too strong to weakling and too weak to fight the strong. You can see multiple time ppl jab at annihilation gang time to time if you play the game. Too big to fit into small pool but too useless in the sea
IPC aren't true villains, literally most of the time they tried to help, even if it was in their own twisted ways. If anything, they're just an intergalactic captalistic company.
@@tymo829 Agreed, but I'm still curious to see how much more 'evil' they can get. Take Opal and Obsidian for example, they wanted a whole galaxy gone for no reason lol The true 'villain' will probably be Nanook
The amount of times I just yell "MYRIAD" at the screen every time he says "Myth-rad" lmao

I still need to check that movie out

"MYR EEAADDD" not "MYTH-RAD"

Thats crazy lmao
Ahhh Yes The IPC
If you're playing Genshin Impact, they're like Fatui Harbingers but more to Capitalism 😅
They're severely different from Harbingers, they work into a greyer area than them
The only true villains are Ipc and the bugs. Honestly playbale charactesr are rarely if ever evi.
