15 Things You Can Do With Yelan.
When using Elemental Skill, Yelan has the fastest running speed in the game.
She restores stamina while using Elemental Skill, allowing you to run more distance before running out of stamina.
Or save stamina for other characters in combat.
Yelan is extremely fast with Rosaria and 2 Anemo characters.
Yelan C1 with Sayu has 100% uptime, you no longer need to sprint.
Her Elemental Skill can CC small enemies, combined with other characters, you can deal fall damage to them.
You also don't have to go around or get too close to the enemy for her Elemental Skill to work.
Her Elemental Skill also works on enemies who use physical shields.
Wildlife are not affected by her Elemental Skill, so you won't accidentally kill them.
Her Breakthrough's AoE is slightly larger than Ganyu's Blooms.
It also reactivates quickly, making hunting with Yelan a breeze.
Her Breakthrough has a very similar effect to a falling star, a plus for photographers.
Her dice will roll out a random result (Idle animation).
Yelan scales with HP, so a 3-Star bow works well early in the game for new players.
Apart from Yelan's BIS weapon, other 4-Star bows work and look great on her too.
Coordinated attacks from her Elemental Burst tracks the target much further than Xingqiu's rain swords.
You can build her into main DPS, It's super fun.
Yelan team of four archers. Fischl is Lv. 70 and not fully built, (C2)Yelan's talent is only Lv. 7.

1. Е-шка Е Лань делает её самым быстрым персонажем в игре (быстрее чем Аяка и Саю)
2. При активной Е-шке восстанавливается стамина, а значит можно пробежать большую дистанцию до того как стамина иссякнет. Или сохранить стамину для команды во время боя (очень полезно мейнерам Хутавы без С1)
3. Можно превратить и без того быструю Е Лань в натурального Флеша: для этого нам нужны два Анемо персонажа (Анемо резонанс уменьшает потребление выносливости и увеличивает скорость) и Розария (увеличивает скорость всей команды в период с 18:00 - 6:00)
4. Постоянное использование Е-шек Е Лань С1 (два заряда Е-шки) и Саю избавят вас от надобности в спринте
5. Е-шка Е Лань может контролировать маленьких врагов (по типу хиличурлов или людей обычного роста), комбинируя это с атаками других персонажей, вы можете наносить дополнительный урон в падении.
6. Для "навязывания" врага не нужно бегать кругами или подходить слишком близко.
7. Также "сеть" можно наложить врагам со щитами. (Даже когда вы стоите буквально спереди и атаковать обычным способом без поломки щита не представляется возможным)
8. Дикая живность (например, бабочки) не реагируют на Е Лань, если она развернула Е-шку, да и случайно убить кого-то подобным способом не получится
9. Площадь взрыва (AoE) после заряженного выстрела Е Лань больше чем у Гань Юй.
10. Также стрела может зарядиться моментально, что делает охоту с ней легче
11. Её восхитительные выстрелы имеют эффект падающей звезды. На заметку тем, кто часто открывает фоторежим в Геншине
12. На кубике в ИДЛ-анимации выпадет рандомное число
13. Т.к. Е Лань нуждается в ХП, то 3-х звездочный Рекурсивный лук будет неплохо ей подходить на ранних стадиях игры.
14. За исключением сигны, другие 4-х звездные луки будут также хорошо работать и смотреться на ней
15. Скоординированные атаки из-под её ульты могут целиться во врага, находящегося на высоте, в отличии от "мечей" Син Цю

I like how a common offensive technique most Hydro characters use is creating Hydro objects/weapons. Childe has his Hydro dual blade and spear, Xingqiu has his rain swords, and Yelan has Hydro thread. Same way with how Geo characters can create Geo constructs, I guess

Sayu is definitely better and more practical even though it’s actually a little slower because it lasts way longer

also just to bury you for laughs... consider anyone who's actually into speeding around in their travels would also be good at BHoping... people who really care bhop cause its tired and true.. the best way to get around period.. its very simple to do too... 50% of the people i run into in coop do it in domains to race to the bottom.. xD
people will not just "stop" and stand there like in the video. they'll be at the end of the E then Bhop into another E at the end of the cool down.. then bhop at the end of the E duration..

no because i got bored and wanted to pull and i had 0 pity and on pity 20 i got her, and a bunch of constellations then on the standard banner i got a five star weapon and on the weapon banner i got a lot of 4 star weapons and characters. it was crazy

The reason why Yelans q tracks the opponent is because she's a bow character, if you use Xinqius q and swap to a bow character his skill will also track the opponent

i don't know about Xinqiu because i don't like him and i don't use him, but, yelan burst tracks opponent regardless of the weapon you equip, while Xinqiu need you to swap to an archer to hit flying enemies as far as i understood, Yelan doesn't have that limitation.
well the person showed a video of xingqiu tracking the ruin guard with yelans burst, so your comment was pointless

Only difference from the video is that Yelan's burst has better hit detection and can allow a grounded sword/Claymore/polearm character to hit a flying enemy.
Tbh this part of the video is debatable, positionning is hardly precise in Genshin.
Yelan is the second 5* i liked in design, gameplay, and probably as a person too, the first one is raiden shogun. And she’s the first bow user i genuinely love. I also love Amber but her mechanic is clunky

My Xinyan is only in C3, but I really like her.
Yelan is really worth of our primo. For meta perspective. She certainly can't beat xingqiu. But she is a lot more fun to play than xingqiu and the most of all exploring using her is very great. Very stamina saving.
She still beats Xingqiu in term of Team DPS. Yes, even if your Hu Tao messed up 1-2 vapes, the team DPS is still a bit higher.
Where she loses to Xingqiu is when you need Xingqiu DMG reduction and stagger resist.
I disagree with not being able to beat Xingqiu. In term of DPS and Utility, surely there are team comps where She Is way Better (Raiden National for example)

I would love to get her, as much as I love Xingqiu it's getting tiring using them constantly. I wish we can also get a support better than Bennett who is also a healer.
Initially i wasn't going to go all the way for her. I decided i would spend 20-30 wishes and if i didn't get lucky i'd wait for her re-run... But i ended liking her too much (fortunately i won 50/50, otherwise i really would have to wait for her re-run). She's super fun, and a very interesting character.
Also, after playing her story quest i want to see her collab with Ayato. They'd be the ultimate menace (and i love using both of them together in a team).

Omg same i just got ayato not long ago, just tried a random team with Ayato, Yelan, Zhongli, kazuha and surprisingly i really love this team so much.
The free fading twilight bow is actually a good substitute as a weapon for Yelan. I've been using it on her weapon and it didn't disappoint.
Make yourself a huge favor and use Favonius or Sacrifice on her.
I didn't build Yelan as a burst bot like Xingqui but as a sub dps because she is super fun I don't just want her to be an aimbot support lol Her Elemental Skill also vapes super well. Hutao is my pyro applicator then switching to Yelan for that increased crit rate and vape!

I pulled Yelan just because I'm a simp, but wow her skill really helps bringing more fun to fights and exploring. Totally worth to get 👍

Yelan can also catch the dendro slimes when they're camouflaging without turning her back at them or using pyro!
Something you didn’t mention is that you can use her elemental skill to group enemies up so your aoe attacks can more easily hit all targets

I’ll be truthful, I was saving for Heizou since I don’t really use bow characters since I’m on mobile, but this video successfully convinced me to roll her. Also since Heizou won’t be out for a while
Trust me, she is worth it. I mostly play on mobile too and she's really easy to play with. I don't really need to use her charge attacks. Just her skills and burst, so I recommend giving her lots of ER and HP

Honestly what I like more about Yelan is how satisfying is watching her fire her bow with the burst. So much DPS!
Yelan’s Collected Miscellany made it really easy for me to use Yelan! I would always use her skill to open up in combat and to get the Breakthrough effect as soon as possible , but I got to know from her Miscellany that she gets her Breakthrough effect after 5 seconds of being outside of combat (the funny thing is , I never noticed that of me playing her for a week!)
Her Elemental Skill deals so much damage that sometime i though it was a bug

I've been farming materials and saving primos for Itto's re-run so I'll have to wait to get Yelan when she has a re-runsome time in the future but I gotta say I'm very tempted, especially with how well she'll go with Ei

Another small plus with using Yelan is that her breakthrough arrow swirls all 3 anemo balls for the new asc mat serpent boss's charge-up phase

I love her kit so much, my Yelan's talents are all level 4 (except normal attack) but deals a very decent damage. She's now level 71 with 28k hp, I use the event bow (I know its not so good for her but I like its design) level 80. She's not well built yet but deals about 6k-12k with pure dmg and 8k-32k+ with vaporize. Sadly she doesn't work with charged attacks focused characters like Hu Tao, Keqing, and Yanfei. Still she's a very good sub dps even though i build her as a dps. She has 71% crit rate and 153% crit dmg. She's very fun to play too especially with taser team.
the event bow is actually one of her 4* bis especially if u have emblem on her (i built her as a dps too)
@@iLuvCats2302 i dont use emblem on her but i use 2pc tenacity and the others are off piece, that's why i said she's not well-built. update: i got her skill talent to level 8 and burst talent to level 6
I use Yelan in a taser team with C6 Xingqiu. Running both means I don't need as much ER and can focus on amping up damage by equipping more offensive weapons instead of ER-focused ones. The single target shred is also much appreciated, makes it viable to run taser as a boss rush comp

If hu tao gets a rerun when I’m 13 (i am an 11 year old playing Genshin wow) I’ll be sure to get her since i lost 50/50 to Qiqi. then I’ll wait for Yelan rerun, and here is my future team: Hu Tao (dps) Bennett (support) Itto (support) and Yelan (second dps)
Loved the Xinyan inclusion in this even though she is very sub-optimal
about the Xingqiu Q coordinate attack detect, it actually depends on ranged character since if you use catalyst or bow AA on fly enemy his sword attack would fly up to where these 2 weapon auto target hit their NA

Additional fact, Yela's Lifeline can be used to escape from the tube the blue Fatui witches put you in. To my knowledge no other character can just pass through them but there's a lot of them i don't own so idk

I just realised how clever it was having Fischl and Diona on the Yelan team, with regular arrows you do more physical damage and the elemental burst ones can freeze or electrocharge
yo, for anyone wondering about this, using sacrificial bow will allow for pretty much 100% uptime on the elemental skill together with Sayu at times it might not work tho if you havent max refined sac bow

small tipp at 4:08 aim while holding your autoatk button and not your aim button then ganyu and basically every bow char puts the bow away immediatly after shooting an aimed shot. you also have to use only one button instead of two and I don't know why the aiming-with-the-aim-button-function even exists anyway. when you play with controller you have to adjust the buttons tho (as long as you are not a handacrobat).
Apart from NA trigger, Her skill can also trigger the coordinated attack from her burst

i was actually deciding if i should pull for hu tao or yelan this coming banner. i do not have plans on pulling any 5 star character, i just want xinqiu and ningguang cons and maybe beidou too. i just want to build pity and if i lose 50/50, it would be okay for me since what i want is the 4 stars. but after watching this video, i finally decided ill pull for yelan even if i loose 50/50 lol ill have the 4 star cons i wanted and yelan at the same time
Yelan is really that character and with amazing utility and flexibility with builds with the unique HP scaling... she is a jack of all trades and f2p friendly. I really want her but Kazuha around the corner I don't wanna risk it. 😭

i actually liked her a lot when i first saw her but i realized she was a dps when we open her c6,, and i'm a f2p player so it's impossible for me to get her- i'm really close to 90 pity and i don't even have enough wishes for 3 10 wishes so basically imma pull for xiao or itto :')

initially i asked my friend when i started for which character to pull for (i started during xiao-yelan banner)
so he told me go for xiao he is better, i did 20 spins on that, didnt get anything, next day i got 1 interwined fate and did 1 spin bymistakely in yelan banner instead of xiao and got her by accident.
But i dont regret it at all.
i wud have gone for her c2 this time, if the weapon banner wudn't have been this goated, so going for banner instead
Yelan burst also follow the target even when they teleport, when i use her while fighting the Abyss mage, when they teleport, yelan burst actually waiting until they pop out, and then hit them
