Thank you for your reaction. Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

When Austin Brown was 5 or 6 years old he sometimes traveled and occasionally sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia. He has a video now of his rendition of "Georgia" that is really good.

@Anita Paulus he was 4 yrs old and fell out of an open window of his mother's 49th story skyscraper apartment in NYC. Mom was in another part of the home while the nanny was in charge of the boy. A window had been opened by her to be cleaned and little son wasn't aware so he was playing and ran up to the window quickly thinking the thick glass would stop him as usual and he fell through it. Many videos of the story on TH-cam from the Press and Eric Clapton himself telling about it. He made a very beautiful video tribute to the boy using home movies of the three of them on the beach.

I don't think that was falsetto at the end, it's his head voice. You should hear him sing Bring Him Home from Les Misérables! I was in tears at the end... it was angelic! So powerful and emotional!

I haven’t seen it pointed out here, but Austin Brown comes by the soul in his singing very naturally. He is the nephew of THE Michael Jackson! Michael’s sister is Austin’s mother. A few people on here say Austin doesn’t sing with soul and that’s flat wrong and ridiculous.
