Hi. I love your extenders / matrix units but I have a question. Is it necessary for the matrix / balun to be on either side of a single CAT cable, i.e. point to point, or can the system work through a switch? I have one CAT 6A cable going from the loft to the kitchen, and at the kitchen end there is a small switch so I can share the connection between a TV, a smart speaker and a camera. Can the balun be connected through the switch or does your system require a dedicated cable for every extension?
Hello, I have 2 displays both can run 4k 120hz and I have 2 media device both can run 4k 120hz as well. They're HDMI 2.1. what product of yours should I go with. I want to be able to use 1 display for the media device but when I want to use the larger display I can just switch to that one. I also want to know if i have to have both displays on? I want to use one at a time but when I turn one on I just switch to that display but turn the other off. Hopefully all that made sense! For context the media device are a laptop and a PS5 which can go 4k 120hz but 60hz is fine.

it will not work through a switch. Its point to point.
