I just bought this Fitbit and for me I think it will be perfect. I'm 74 years old and my doctor want me to walk more and I didn't want anything big and bulky and am mainly interested in the time, walking and heart rate features. I think this would be great for any person that wants the basis. Hopefully I'll love this device. Thanks for your video.
Hi Mike. Thanks for the video. I got the Fitbit Inspire HR mid December to replace my Fitbit One (yes the pioneer fitbit, and it still works). I find the Inspire HR perfect for me. I just want to get my steps in, track sleep and tell time. The heart rate monitor, and connection to my phone when I get a text or call are bonuses and awesome. Yes the screen is a bit small, but I can live with that. I love that it's small, sleek, almost weightless. I also bought some fancy watchbands for it. So easy to replace the bands. Your video is very concise and tells me everything I want to know. Keep it up.
I love this device because it is so simple. I'm older (57) and I'm just trying to keep up my heart rate and checking on my daily steps. I also will be tracking calories, but haven't filled in my food information. That's next!!
Great review - I’ve been looking for one that is interesting to listen to that doesn’t just cover “unboxing & setting up”. I appreciate that you’re not getting sidetracked and talking about other things and/or trying to sell stuff, like some reviews did. Subscribed (and also hit the bell - had no idea about that little trick). Thanks 😊
Thanks Mike. The HR seems similar to the Charge 2, which is reaching its max lifespan for me & hubby. We were debating which next step to take (no pun intended). He might like the Versa 2. He’s also a bell’s & whistles kinda guy. (Nice presentation by the way!) But I still like the smaller size; no frills.
You can get your text messages, you have to do it from the app,to let notifications through,it works for mines, I haven't seen the calls yet, Im sure it works.😊
@@MikeOBrienMedia OH, I am honored to receive your reply in such a short period of time. I have a black technology cup in my hand, can you make a comment video for us if you like. We can also communicate via email
This is exactly what i was looking for, and I'm excited for when it arrives. :D I love to run and keep track of my heart rate, also my sleep pattern/quality - so this device is perfect for someone like me I think.
Great review! Have you checked out the new Koretrack fitness watch? Trying to decide if I should purchase this Fitbit inspire HR or the new Koretrack. I’d love to hear your opinion on which is better.
I'm a watch guy who wants to buy one. I'm used to wearing an 8mm thick watch and this FitBit is 16mm. I don't know if it'll bother me or not. This is the only thing holding me back
Black Fri price exceptional. I haven't read many good reviews tho about sleep tracking, and when driving, my friend gets steps. I thought it seemed so thick, and I already lose my arm when putting on a coat with my Alta HR, I thought this would be worse? You said no.
Bought one of these,, returned it a week later,, logged 29 steps just lifting it from the chair to put on my wrist,, step counter was always so way off,,,,,,,,
How does the GPS with phone work? I want to buy it but I'm concerned it'll drain my phone's battery by constantly using its GPS. Is that a genuine concern? What happens if I don't give it permission to use my phone's GPS?
If you don't let it talk to your phone it will just record your steps, time, and heart rate and then estimate distance from those and your height. It's sufficient unless you are doing serious training.
I also use a Bluetooth chest strap when I’m cross training as I can use its phone app to keep an eye on my heart rate. When I glance at my Inspire, the two match within a heartbeat or two. But tracking my heart rate when I’m dancing is insane. In just jamming not so much for exercise as for reducing my glucose levels and the Inspire is telling me I’m in my peak zone but my chest strap is saying I’m in the fat burning zone. I know the chest strap is right.
This particular fitbit doesn't - if you don't want to fork out for a fitbit that costs twice as much as this one, you can buy an oximeter seperately (like they have in hospitals and clip to a finger) for much less.
I like mechanical watches rather than smartwatches. I just wear a fitbit flex 2 for notifications and obviously health tracking. However, my flex 2 is acting weird. Was looking for a new one but guess it's a unique item now. Looked into this but really don't need it as a watch cause of the mechanical watch. My question: can I change default view to something else other than time? Like step count, calories burnt etc?
Hi I have the series 5 watch. I’m so FUCKKNG annnoy. With it doesn’t even track sleep you have to download another app. I run a lot I feel like this is clunky I’m about to purchase this Fitbit n compare it
I'm worried that the relax function may malfunction, and fail to buzz to tell me when to breathe in. I guess the heart beat monitor would warn you that you're about to flatline though, otherwise it could be very dangerous indeed. When I went to take a look at these fitbits the sales assistant told me it also had a woman's health function, that could analyse the menstrual cycle. Was he truthful in insisting the device needed to be inserted in my vagina? He told me there was nothing to worry about, as the tracker was waterproof to five atmospheres, but when he snapped the latex gloves on I left in a hurry. Can anyone confirm the veracity of his claims? Useful video Mike, thank you!

I agree that there is something to be said about simplicity on the wrist. No distractions, only what you need!
After 5 months, how do you like your fitbit?
Ordered one coming Wednesday. Your video a great intro.
Also, I would like to read what's on the screen when I'm outside in daylight, which I can't do with the damn Alta HR!

I thought about getting the charge three but once I found you and watch at a much more cheap price I decided I was going to get this instead
this channel is soooo underrated
You really deserve more views man
Thanks! My channel is still pretty young. Hopefully it will grow as I make more videos. Thank you for watching!!

sunkist 55 it does
Thank you Mike, your comments are always so detailed
Thanks for watching!! I'm glad you enjoyed my video :)

Finally! Great review! Its like you know my thoughts.
Nice and well explained review. Good device indeed.
Thanks for watching, Shane!
how accurate are the details?
Great review! Have you checked out the new Koretrack fitness watch? Trying to decide if I should purchase this Fitbit inspire HR or the new Koretrack. I’d love to hear your opinion on which is better.
Great VDO. Thank you. I am addicted to HR during exercise. :-)
I'm a watch guy who wants to buy one. I'm used to wearing an 8mm thick watch and this FitBit is 16mm. I don't know if it'll bother me or not. This is the only thing holding me back
Same, I like wearing watches and I feel like this will replace wearing them.
Great video. Thanks. Much easier than reading the manual.

Great review, exactly what I was looking for
Thanks!!!

thanks for mentioning it doesn't have GPS...all I really want is something to monitor heart rate
Just bought it today! Thanks for the demo.
You mentioned this is Bluetooth, but would I be able to use wireless ear buds and still have this connected?
Thanks very much for making this! Used your affiliate link to order mine 😊
So glad you liked the video! Enjoy your new Fitbit!
Can you adjust the brightness?? seems to
be a major issue.
Ive been using the flex 2 for 5 yrs now, I want to upgrade to this but I have a Samsung phone and don't know to go for a Samsung fit.
I got one for my online Phys ed course class requirement.
I will let you know how it goes.
How’d it go?
Thanks for the review! The link for the straps doesn't work :(
Why does your fitbit app look different?
Oh, and nice video btw
Thanks!
Hmm... Do you have an iPhone maybe? I'm using a Galaxy S10
Hey do you automatically change the time clock at different time zones as well as reset the whole pattern?
That's not a manual in the box, just the Guarantee. You need to download the official manual.
If you are wearing wireless head phones, will the watch still work?
Have u done the Fitbit Charge 3?
that was the warranty card that you just threw..... :D :D , not the user manual
does the app require data or just bluetooth?
FYI - the link for cool straps is broken :-(

I have pixel 3, will there be a problem in sync and all, because of Bluetooth?
Need to know how to track and map my bike rides paired with android
My battery only lasts three days at best ;-(
Did I miss where you discussed heart rate accuracy? Anyone know if this one works-properly for that function?
I wondered about that too. You talked about the accuracy in the Versa 2 review so I was hoping to here about HR and pedometer on this one too.

How do you sneak this in visioning. What is the other day how do you sneaky with that phone
Sir, what about the oxygen in your blood (Sp02), it can also detect it by the Fitbit inspire HR?
This particular fitbit doesn't - if you don't want to fork out for a fitbit that costs twice as much as this one, you can buy an oximeter seperately (like they have in hospitals and clip to a finger) for much less.
Does it keep track of steps or floors climbed ??
It's a fitbit so of course it tracks steps. Did you watch the video? I know it doesn't track floors.
Which is better, mi band 4 or fitbit inspire hr? Thanks
I'm testing the mi band out and I'll be making comparison videos with the next week

So can I wear it to school?
Yes, most schools will allow you to war a fitness tracker
Fitbit inspire HR or Galaxy Fit?
I made a video comparing the two!
