    Hi there. Great video.
I have recently purchased the TM6. Something trsange happened. I turned it off and some 3 days later turned it on but there was not sound coming out. It only started playing after factory resetting. I wonder if leaving my SD card inserted was the problem?

Roland is doing a poor job of marketing this module. Ive been using a hybrid kit for almost a decade, and even when I had it on tour with artists such as Vince Neil, Wang Chung, and Biz Markie...I repeatedly heard from their FOH engineers how EASY the setup was and how great it sounded out of the box.
They really need to market this to the drummer who is playing clubs and theaters because it makes setup very quick....especially when the band is bringing the PA. It sounds fantastic, routes REALLY easy for use with in ears monitors, and reduces sound check by at LEAST 30 minutes for each gig. Well worth the money, in my opinion

I really want to sell my td-17 and get this unit instead. The only downside is I won’t have a 3 zone ride

    Hi there.
I have an issue. My drummer uses side stick and rim shot. He never uses centre for snare. The problem is that when he hits rim shot all I get is side stick. How can I resolve this problem. Otherwise it means that I can’t use the snare trigger.
    Thanks for your help.

Thank you for this video !
If I want to build an electronic setup with 12 pads (lets say BT-1 only) and this beauty, it will cost a lot !
Do you know another way to save some money on this kind of project ?
By the way, what is the audio resolution of the user imported samples ? 44.1, 48, 96kHz ? 16 or 24bits ?
    Thanks for helping.

The audio must be 16bit 44.1k, you could buy lots of pd-8a(single zone pads) for dirt cheap and buy uses BT-1 triggers, or I believe pin tech makes a very affordable bar trigger. You need special splitters with a think a 10k resistor because of the way Roland wires their products.

"This is a bit of a good friend to a sound engineer"
As someone who sends her entire bands mix on two cables for left and right I can assure you, your sound engineer want as little as possible to do and will hate you for sending multiple channels. Dont be the guy who sends 50 channels from your drum module.

If the left / right you send sounds perfect, you're right. But a good sound guy just want to achieve a perfect sound for the audience. And if there anything messy in your stéréo mix, the soundguy will die inside because the sound will be crap and there is nothing he can do to really fix that.
