I wish my language learning app wasn’t so expensive, I was doing really well learning Mongolian and I can’t afford to keep learning. I love Mongolia and learning about the language and history and cuisine and music. Would love to visit one day, though I’m sure the wide open skies would be new for me. Here in Oregon in the US, the horizon is broken up with mountains and trees everywhere you look. Much love from a big fan!

Yet as they sat in that circle sharing the roots of their music coming from a synergy of soul with nature that alchemy makes their music universally understood at a soul level. My child years I lived on a farm in the plains part of the United States. I miss it so much, and I think Hu could understand. I would sneak outdoors at night because the frogs, and night birds, and bugs would play a concert for the stars. It filled me to lie back, and watch the stars winking as the sounds of all these creatures sang their enthusiasm. It was part of me, and I was part of it. We flowed together like water drops of a river. The breeze did not go around me, because I understood it, and it went into me, through me, visited me.
In the daytime I walked so much. Birds would tell me about their day. Sometimes squirrels would think I stayed too long, and scold me to go home.
So many years that part of me has been away. Then I am seeing things on YT, and it says throat singing. Oh, I remember hearing of that before. It was Mongolian men, singing in a subway.
Life came back to me. I looked for more of The Hu.
I don’t understand Mongolian language, so learning to sing along is going very slow. My cd came with a book of lyrics, but it doesn’t show me how to pronounce the words. I used to make my own sounds as a child, so I am catching on to the throat singing. Tricky stuff! When little, I tried to whistle and hum at the same time, and sometimes I could, so I don’t give up just because the sounds are tricky. 😁
I truly hope sometime Hu can come to my town. I can’t travel much because parts of me are giving up.
I love how this music has brought nature back to me, not just around me.
I hope you get well and summon the strengths to visit our beautiful country. I tell you, you will bump into them in UB
