Mad respect for you Lucky , your the real deal your attention to quality and detail is aces in my books . I admire how you apply new technology with the old and create beautiful vehicles . Thanks for sharing . Cheers .
I always enjoy watching a Master at his trade. It's NO wonder why Hot Rod (Motor Trend) have you on staff. Thank you for all you do and, LOVE your channel!
This is why I like older vehicles. Bolt mostly metal together. And every part shown is available should you need to replace it. Thanks for sharing YOUR Sunday with us Lucky.
Cool video. I like the details you shared on both the radiator hassles you've had and the "Frost-bite" brand you now prefer and also the details on assembling the C10 door. Wish the sound level for the door was higher, though. Even with all of my speaker controls maxed out I could barely hear..
Watching the work get done is great. The updates are cool, but the actual work is more like what I like to watch. Nevertheless, I’m a longtime subscriber ‘cuz Lucky doesn’t get enough credit for all the work he does in the background of all those shows he’s been a part of. Thanks Lucky.
Thank you Lucky, very nice video. Btw : You seem to know a thing or two about locks, always a plus. (or at least you know what they are really good for :-D )
@@JOHNJ0HN9111 that's what I was thinking about editing, He is a real mechanic but come on everyone loses parts, wrenches and patience. Not this guy. Lucky, please show us you throwing a tool or spazzing out.
@@matthewbakker8113 I've worked on all kinds of cars and know for a fact that it can frustrating at times, I'll bet you do not know how to fix your own car, if you did you would understand my comment.
Was that the window crank falling off at the end ? You made it look real easy Lucky... if it was me there would have been a few colorful adjectives here and there !
Lucky, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Fury has discs in front now, correct? I notice it has the 8" Midland-Ross style booster for drum-drum setups, which I've been *told* doesn't provide enough boost for factory Mopar disc brakes. Yet, nobody has been able to qualify *why* this is the case, nor have they specified whether this applies to the 4-piston Bendix brakes or the later single-piston units often used on swaps. If you're running discs up front (EDIT: Just realized you have a disc/drum booster, so I assume you are), I'd be curious to hear your opinion about the brake feel (I'd also be curious what bore MC you have paired with it). I ran one of the 8" Bendix-style (disc-drum) repops on my '68 Satellite for a few months and swore it off after it failed prematurely. Nevertheless, I wouldn't be adverse to the idea of trying the Midland-Ross, if it provides enough boost.
The first car has so much nice work done to it. What hits my eye somehow is the harness on the left inner fender. It is fixed in place with plastic wire straps. The wire straps need 2 holes in the fender. That worries me, as the holes are more prone to corrosion. And somehow the plastic wire straps do not fit to this otherwise greatly done restauration. Do you know of any products which could replace plastic wire straps? Like maybe a metal belt strap or something in general, which was used before plastic wire straps.
So, you were talking to yourself and made a video.... At 9:54 if you use spray silicone on both the glass and metal side of that, makes it go so much easier...
i smashed the like button then all of a suddenly there was no or very very lil voice on when u got the orange door on the c-10..... get a external mike so we all can hear u no matter how far u r from the camera !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to have to do something soon on the '90 silverado door. Bubble rust starting at the bottom and the side trim is starting to fall off, pulling paint and exposing rusted metal underneath. It's a nice two tone color so I want to try and save it.

Coolest truck I’ve seen in years, hands down!
All right, a handy dandy C10 tutorial! Just what I needed, seeing as how I just purchased a 69 almost a month ago.
Gracias Senor Lucky...
Damn Lucky,, I'm already in thermals and a sweatshirt,,, CA sure has nice weather. I barely remember Novato from 30+ yrs ago as a kid.
That door looks much better on there. Matched up Great, Awesome Patina!
Simple yet satisfying. Excellent work as always Lucky.
Great demonstration. I have to put in Regulators in my 71 C10 in a couple weeks.
Sweet! Love it when a plan comes together!
I love those like... 1989 Cheyenne seats. Honestly look super comfortable.

Loving these updates!
It matches really well. That’s a wicked truck!
Doors might be boring but wow, you're obviously a pro. I enjoyed the longer video.

Nice job Lucky!
Ryan.
Love the " New Old Used Door "... and Yes.. ( the wagon needs an aluminum radiator )
Nice work Lucky from Ontario Canada
I like the fresh new door on the truck and now all Blends in buddy the wagon looks badass
Done and done. Looks good, sounds even better.
Yeah, when I had my 68. A made a sticker for the the dash that said. 'Before you ask, that smell is Fluid Film'.
Quality work as always, Luck.
Thank you Lucky, very nice video.

Get the right bench seat, looks sweet Lucky
Looks like a good replacement, Lucky ... good stuff :o)
I love those wheels on the c10 I'm going to run the same ones on my 2wd 98 Tahoe
That is a good solid job!
LMAO, “That will slow down a thief exactly 30 seconds”. True but at least the door looks good until such time.
"If they're slow"
Small rear window. Perfect.
Installing the door with the window and regulator removed is cheating Lucky, lol. nice job, you make it look easier
than it is.
You sure make everything look easy!
Been doing as long as Lucky has.. and also editing makes it look easy.. Lol

Miracle of tv :D
I find guys who spaz out and throw wrenches don't build many cars... remember its supposed to be fun.

What's the back spacing and tire size on your bassett wheel
Yeah, that jack trick on the door is a back saver if you're doing a camaro or monte
That is a perfect match to me . I paint in a body shop and the Color can be slightly out or a dust nib and you have to fix it . It drives me nuts .
Looking good!!!
Big Red is looking good!
Cool video I've got a 72 c10 I wished that my window s went up an down that easy
Looks good, air tight - no whistles...what kind of mirror you gonna hang on that door
Looks great...
How the hell did assembling a door get that interesting.

Do you have a whole fancy suspension setup on the c10 or do you have a basic lowering kit? Low the whee setup too
nice job but the audio was too quiet
john adams turn your volume up
Lucky needs a wireless, that camera mic ain't cutting it when he's not looking down the barrel.
Agree. All of my speaker controls were maxed out and I could barely hear.
Sounds just like a "real" door should. Good old American steal.
Steel*
not a slew of flimsy little plastic clips that snap if you look at them the wrong way either
Was that the sound of the window crank falling off and hitting the floor at the end? :)
The wagon motor needs more corporate blue lol

Its not a restoration. Its a shop truck. Get over it.
Looks damn good...
I like those wheels.
SO WHAT CITY & STATE U IN THERE LUCKY.........
That is one rugged shop stool. ;)
Lucky can you share the wheel specs please and thank you. Your fitment looks like it clears better then mine
Who makes the plain black air cleaner on the wagon?
Put some pepper in the fury’s radiator
Even quiet Lucky is better than no Lucky at all.
What's the story on that cool Ford pickup under the 4 post!? Did I miss a video on that one?
I'm an idiot!!! Chip truck, just ran across the video. My bad!

Cool door lucky way better than that sad white one
About 15 less F bombs and stitches than when I did mine. That damn weatherstripping...
I hope nobody blows your doors off! :)
That damn Tangelo keeps thumbing you down Lucky 😁
Hi Luckly, I like you pages but you need to look at using a remote microphone sound wasnt that good Cheers David
What are the odds, a red door. All you need now is a black hood to complete the theme.
i smashed the like button then all of a suddenly there was no or very very lil voice on when u got the orange door on the c-10.....
