I'm really eager to get back into this game now that we've received some updates since its original release. Thank you for making these videos! It helps so much with figuring out where I should start and what's changed.

So far I'm not a fan of the new productivity UI but maybe it'll grow on me. On the other hand, the new UI for showing berry gatherer efficiency while you're placing it makes it much easier to find the right spot for it!
I may have already mentioned it but the only time I've ever seen a farm use up all of its space is when growing wheat as if you don't have enough windmills and bakeries as then it gets backlogged.
The carpenter/stonecutter problem reminds me of Timberborn, which happily lets you unlock the Mud Baths, although before the latest update you couldn't actually build them without the help of bots (even with the latest update you still need a load of dependent technology first).
Yea, the new UI isn't my favourite, but I am sure I will get used to it before too long, or at least I hope so!
Wheat gets backed up so quickly and is such an efficient food source so I want to get that up and running asap!
I've had Timberborners on my wishlist for some time now, I watch a lot of RCE play it and love it!

that's really nice I like the UI, just think the Onbu stats needs to be bigger. but I am excited to see more. new bulidings and new challenges would be a big deal for this game.
Yea, I agree, the old UI had bigger Onbu stats which was nicer imo.. But yes, I am with you, super excited to see what else they have in store, would enjoy some more biomes and such.

I just started playing this game for the first time but it’s interesting to see what has changed
Hmm, the villager update… it’s been a while, I think this is the update where we got the new UI, the changes to the scavengers, the new housing buildings, changes to how villager happiness works, and a bit more! It’s a great update to a great game 💛💛

New Features
Complete overhaul of how villager needs work:
Villagers productivity will no longer fall below 100%.
Instead, villagers can leave if their needs aren’t met.
Productivity can still be boosted above 100% if villager happiness is kept above certain thresholds.
Population level has been removed, so all needs can be worked on from the start of the game.
Villager demands will increase over time, so make sure to keep them happy.
The new food management window lets you control which types of food your villagers are allowed to eat, giving you more control over food quality and variety.
The new Gourmet Kitchen allows you to produce high-quality food to make your villagers happy. You want more uses for salt? We hear you!
Festivals held by the Community Plaza and the new Town Square now give a big temporary boost to happiness. They also provide a small passive happiness boost while they are fully staffed.
Scavengers have received a big visual update. They will now take off and land when heading out on and returning from missions.

Still no cows, perhaps that is what the next update should be!

I gave the game a new chance after the update but using different menus and icons are still so unconvenient and slow i quit the game again.
Aww I’m sorry to hear that! It took me some getting used to and in this series you’ll see me click on the wrong menu all the time, and forget to close the open menus to clear up the screen a bit. I liked the old UI better too - but I’m starting to come around.
