Satisfactory (Especially with mods, I have like 30) is my go to for right now. The mechanics are just so... satisfying. And I love finding new ways to improve and compact my factories to make them more efficient. The I'll go back and decorate my factory buildings to make them look aesthetic and detailed. (on the insides at least, the outside just looks like a gray cube lol)
I love DSP - Best factory game out there for me - love the new update Dark Fog its that good I would of paid for it as DLC - Does not feel like an early access game does it :)
Builderment was amazingly fun. Realistically it only has 15-20 hours of playtime before completing the tech tree, but I loved every moment I spent with it.
i liked the game but i agree price is not worth it mainly because i pretty much already completed the game on mobile which is for free before it was released on pc
It's probably in the comments already but Dyson Sphere Program should definitely be on here somewhere. It just had a big update adding combat and it is very cool.
Lol you two are funny. The update made huge changes, seemed worth a mention for anyone in the comments that hadn't heard of it. Idrc if it's on the 2023 list or not. It is automation and had an update a few days before the video so it felt relevant. Thanks for being the accuracy police in the comment section though, you're doing great work.
@@bryanheffner4057 its your personal opinion, I for exemple targeted that video to check new games and already playing dsp, factorio and all the classics. Is it could be as a clickbait if the video maker did things differently
Factorio is my go to at the moment, trying to build my first mega base, highly unlikely though as spaghetti is my food of choice 😂, however I do have pretty much all of your games here wishlisted. I’m very interested in trying the new update for the Dyson sphere program.
still having fun with "for the crown" although not "released" this year. it is all about ratios and balancing, funnily enough i found it from your vids, very few YTbers are playing it
I agree with your opinion regarding Revive and Prosper. I've been playing it non stop since downloading it at the start of December. More people need to give it a shot.
This was like watching a list of a very small portion of my Steam wishlist and library. Right now I'm obsessing over Gridroad, a very simple concept traffic management game that's all about getting the right color cars to the same color flag exit. About 5$ of flow gameplay that came out the 6th of December, it's simplicity is deceptive and soon there's a global high score list implemented after release.
Great video - But to be honest I am surprised you did not put Dyson Spare Program in this video - and it just had its biggest update Dark Fog - please show DSP Ok here my factory game list 1. Dyson Spare Program ( best factory game I ever played and it feels like a finished game even though its in Early Access still - and for me its the best factory game on Steam 2. InfoSpace - another game but not had a chance to play 1.0 yet - but its another great game 3. Automation Epaire Now this one for me is sad story - I loved the gamr when it came out - but sadly the Devs have dumped it - it was a full relase though
Do you believe a sequel will be made of the game? That would be something to keep an eye on. Appreciate all the work you do to introduce us to new games. I will be subscribing to your channel!
Just loaded back in to Factorio for the first time in forever last night. Forgot how good it actually is. Probably my favorite, still. There's something about going back to basics and the "original"
subbing because after 2 videos I noticed u start with the best rather than leading me around with a carrot on a stick lol I tend to check out others too, but its nice not playing wheres waldo for the cream of the crop games.
Im still playing factorio and Oxygen not included. I guess oni is more of a colony sim technically you dont really have to automate anything but its kind of a big part of the fun of the game. thats why im here im getting kina bored with those games after more than 5k hours on each but idk if any of these really do it for me sadly. still a nice compilation. I enjoy watching your best of series.
I don't think OP actually played most of these games which is why his reviews are so vague. I think he just read the trending page of steam and maybe a couple reviews of each, so he could make this video.
Bingo. There’s about a hundred or so channels that just script out quick blurbs from reviews and edit them together. Then they’ll reuse each game script per game and use them in TOP 10 SO AND SO GENRE, TOP 10 STEAM SALES TO LOOK OUT FOR! And then change “2023” to “2024” It’s ad revenue farms. The worst ones have been using AI Voice text-speech for the scripts
Atm Satisfactory is my favorite but Desynced and Techtonica Look fun. and Satisfactory is probably 1 more year away from release. maybe more. but they did finally drop the update in 5.1 engine. game is running better than ever. i had it since update 4. this is 8... or 9.. i forget lol. but my god i struggled to run it in 4. lol now same factory save world runs max graphics and buttery smooth.
Techtonica was good and now waiting for the next update. Have been playing Revive and Prosper, amazing game. Not saying I fully understand what I am doing, but so cool. The developer on Discord very helpful. Disappointing to see everyone playing Dyson Sphere, again. They should be getting there heads around this one.
I find these recommendations suspicious. a few of these recommendations have some serious bugs or shortcomings for their price, and in the case of industries of titan that game will never ever be done or fully realized. Infraspace is also fairly controversial based on the games ergonomics and bugs. I know reviews are subjective, but I kind of wish it referenced more of the common gripes and downsides with some of the games on this list. It still feels odd Captain of Industry, or games that are pretty close to complete but also are relatively bug free and actively played are missing.
Industries of Titan was awful when I last played, a while ago now though. How is Dyson Sphere Program not on here? If you've not played it it comes highly recommended by most people, myself included and just got a huge combat update
It should be 80% + possitve for me - He should have put DSP at the end as an extra - specially after Dark Fog update - best factory game on Steam for me
DSP doesn't qualify since it's still in early access, only games being released on early access or when they promote to full release are they allowed to have a spot on the best of list. Otherwise you could just stick Factorio as no 1 for each year since 2013.
Disliked the video. As a factory game enthusiast I find this list too bloated to be useful. Even though you may have spent time playing those games, you have not gone nearly in depth enough with any of them for you to be able to distinguish the best ones. Then I went to look at the rest of your channel, you have made around 20 videos playing my favourite factory game. Yet you never mentioned by far the best part about it, it's rich multiplayer and moding community which features 20+ custom game modes with active playerbases of various skill levels. Yet I still see you doing the most basic mistakes in that game, which prove to me you understand nothing about why that game is one of the best factory builder games currently. Which is why you managed to make 20 hours of content on it and still miss the gold.
Satisfactory (Especially with mods, I have like 30) is my go to for right now. The mechanics are just so... satisfying. Feeling like Dyson Sphere Program is cruelly missing here
The combat update for dyison sphere program came out a few days ago that is a big update to a cool looking factory builder

haha brilliant! Thanks for the rec, I'll check it out!
Just a FYI- Plan B: Terraform is very processor intensive. Worth upgrading your CPU for though.

I'm always waaaaay behind because I play so many different games but this year I finally got around to Timberborn and really enjoyed it.
Timberborn is great! If you enjoy it, you'll enjoy revive and prosper!
Playing a lot of Mindustry, as I discovered it a bit late, but really a fun and challenging game.
Minustry is SO good!

Nothing surpassess those 2, dyson sphere is best than vanilla factorio but not best than modded factorio.
iv'e played satisfactory but i don't own the game myself, really looking into it
It’s really good!
I enjoyed Factory Town Idle (it released this year). It is a budget game only $5 and there is not a lot to it, but I still enjoyed it.
That's a GREAT shout, I rate it too. It's on a few of my other lists ;)
love the visual style of station 9, looks really great!
Agree, can't wait to see more
Nova lands is a really fun one. Kinda like forager but with base building.
I'm still loving Mindustry.
Builderment is also available for free on mobile, for people who don't like the price of the PC version
Foundry! Not 23, I don't think, but Foundry!
Plan B gets very tedious, very fast. Having to often redo certain supply chains, it's annoying.
Still well into Satisfactory. I prefer games with no pressures - get enough of those IRL.
Same, 1,600hrs and counting :)
@martinarscott3524 Yep. 2500 hours and counting. Now that's value for money!
Quite nice compilation. Thank you!!
Cant seem to find that top mining games video you mentioned?
If you want 2D Factorio is the best, if you want 3D you play satisfactory.
Orbital Potato, have you seen Starminer????
What about Evospace?

@meteorjuice4088 but what about the part where he has videos of him playing these games? Kinda wrecks the narrative doesn't it?
can you please get out of space and alien worlds with cartoonish and desert biomes in your next video??? tnx
