Whatever you have said to those students at Hun School that made them applaud you in standing ovation, I'm sure it's a summary of your life experiences, an awesome and inspiring life experience.
I would have lost my mind if my school brought in someone like you to speak to us. Not enough people are pushing creativity in high school these days. It seems that everyone focuses on playing it safe and discourages creativity. Keep doing what you do Mr. Neistat!

i first watched his video almost 3 years ago and i fell in love instantly, the way he makes his video is just so creative and magnificent. even his vlogs are so original and use plenty of efforts with the drone shots and many angle shots. consider him not going into a broadcasting or any filmmaker institution this guy is truly gifted and hardworking!! keep it original and stay humble i love you man :)

He has already given all that advice plenty of times in his vlogs. Just watch them... and yeah basically the main advice is to just start making videos.

I made him a custom lightsaber using one of my own unique hilts. I went as far as etching his name and silhouette image onto the shroud (etching is a process I use that carves into the metal). I made the blade white so he could also use it as lighting and installed sound with motion detection etc. The works. To be honest, I was so sure it would catch his attention as I was under the impression he appreciates hand made items especially of a technological nature. I did take a picture before I sent it to him but I can't share it via these comments. I was hoping he would share it with you all when he opened it. I am just so surprised that he had the box before and now it's no where to be seen? I really hope he didn't think I was just trying to use him for advertising. I specifically state in the letter that if he opens it, just to drop me an email to say he got it and it arrived safely. I don't want no adverts or anything, I'm swamped as it is already. Just an acknowledgement would be more than enough for me. I was just excited to think that my work was in his studio. Time will tell I guess.
