1. I like TP and SD, but I think for mid to long-term, I'd stick with Taurean because he's shown to have better floor spacing ability, and defensive versatility guarding the 1-3, sometimes even the 4, and has been a near 40% 3pt shooter consistently. I think he just offers a bit more. 2. I've said this a few times already, the Lakers don't need to focus on allstar-level players at all!!!!! they need to pay attention to a more balanced and versatile front/backcourt with consistent offense and defense, similar to Minnesota, Boston or even Dallas. There are a lot of potential steals in free agency that have been under the radar for a hot minute that I think the Lakers should consider signing, especially cause all of them are affordable. 3. PG: KCP, Lonnie Walker IV, Alex Caruso. SG: Kelly Oubre Jr SF: Robert Covington PF: Dwight Howard, KJ Martin C: Andre Drummond 6/8 of these players are eligible for the Veteran minimum contracts; $3-5 million each...AFFORDABLE!!!!!!!! KCP is asking for around $15-20 million, and AC has $8.9 million left on his current contract. Everyone else offers the skills and abilities that the Lakers desperately need to become a championship contender. And alot of these players played off the bench, which can be essential for rotations, and you'd have very efficient scoring and defensive ability at a constant rate, even due to each player being able to switch multiple positions, which is also valued alot amongst other teams. Additionally, they'd also have more 3&D versatility.
I like TP, Spence was a little underwhelming but needed more time to adjust. I'd still rather see Max and Cam out there more. Young guns can only grow with experience and confidence.
Again both good players for the roles that they are supposed to play.

Tauren Prince is ok as a role player in short bursts only. Dinwiddie was good, but Darvin Ham did not even give him a chance.
